I washed my own hair, if that counts.

That dog does look smarter than me though. I'm wearing a plaid shirt with a band t-shirt. Chu would hate me right now.

Do you think it is too soon to ask if you can bring a dog to work?

Can I have your job? I can do this.

It's a computering job which you are probably overqualified for.

This train ticket doesn't let me out of this particular station. It lets me in and works fine elsewhere so all I can assume is that this station is either hitting on me or a lobster trap

E3 excites me much less than it used to. I don't know if it's changed or if I have. It's hard to care when new consoles aren't expected to be announced though.

Morning [chat] folks. Hope all is well, grats on the new job btw Tav. Just try and take it one step at a time and I'm sure you'll be fine. I was the same way with my current job when I started out.

I've found that as I get older, my time for gaming decreases... at least, gaming in the video game sense. FTL eats up a ton of my time because I can multitask while playing it. Other games just don't run all that great. It doesn't help that I don't have a well-sized TV to play on or anything, but.. eh. Most games that come out these days just don't interest me like they used to.

There's also a bit of guilt over owning a big gaming collection and not playing most of it...

But yeah. My idea of what's fun has changed a lot.

The last game I played to completion was Bioshock Infinite. The only game I've really played since that came out was FIFA 14.

Working in education gets super-weird this time of year, everything has been more of less shut down since the national exams ended and there is just nothing to do outside of a bit of paperwork and preparations for how we are going to handle the practical stuff around this years graduation.

Working in support of education sucks because all these major projects get pushed through in the summer without the "big picture" being looked at, so we have a ton of stuff set to go live right before enrollment opens up in August and not enough staff to get it all done.

The Guardian is confident in England's chances, evidently
Surely England have to try to attack Italy? I'd play Sterling over Welbeck, that's what I'd do if I was England manager, in between the crying and punching of walls.

I like how this goes exactly against what Paul Scholes said

Scholes said they should have Welbz on to trackback and try to suffocate Pirlo's possession, which they really should do. I can't imagine Sturridge doing that job.

Interesting. Apparently my electric shaver has an indicator light that shows it's time to replace the heads... that is completely and 100% UNDOCUMENTED in the manual. Or the best practices/care guide. The only explanation shows up in the FAQ, including that it only shows up for about 7-10 shaves and then goes away, and that you can manually reset the counter by holding the button down longer than the locking function.

Guys... guys. I know your manuals are for the whole series, and not just my particular model, to save you time. I know you needed to include 4 pages on the automatic cleaning solution tool of the top of the line model. But if this is a feature shared on the entire line, don't you think a little callout that says "if you see this light, replace your shaver heads" would be useful?

Yeah I can see that, even in our smallish organisation we have some monstrous projects in the pipeline for the fall semester though most of those are on the educational side and not so much tech.

I'd be pro the English team (not the fans jesus no) if they went with youth over experience. Stones, Shaw, Sturridge, Welbz, Barkley.

If they just go out with the most capped players, they are going to crash and burn and it will be amazing.
