Never buy a system for just one game. If you can't think of at least 3 gotta have titles, then it's not worth it.
Granted, Splatoon is amazing and there are other great Wii U titles, just don't drop $300 for a single game. Not that I think you would, but just being safe here.

Eh. As nice as that squirt gun offer is, that's not a very high quality gun. The resovoir on the top is likely purely decorative, as the trigger mechanism looks like a very basic squirt gun pump. In other words, it's not a super soaker full-auto deal.
Now, is there anything wrong with that? Nah. But don't expect it to be able to hold a candle to modern water cannons.

So is anyone going boy inkling? Cause the boy inkling design looks like something marketing team forced the design team to come up with ('We need boys or we wont sell games!').
I've got a Splatoon console bundle pre-ordered, with only one other currently-available game on my wishlist. There's three more games upcoming that I will probably buy, but I'm well aware of the dangers of trusting unreleased games to come out on time, if at all.
If it winds up being a $300 disappointment, well, I once owned a 3DO. It would have to crater pretty hard to out-disappoint that.

I'm actually unfamiliar with the Smash definition. Are we talking like spawn-camping? There's a bubble that's over the spawn platform that deflects all incoming ink, so you could conceivably use it to clear out a beachhead if the enemy team's trying something.

I'm actually unfamiliar with the Smash definition. Are we talking like spawn-camping? There's a bubble that's over the spawn platform that deflects all incoming ink, so you could conceivably use it to clear out a beachhead if the enemy team's trying something.

Nah, that's the standard charger from the testfire. They revealed in another video that there's a more specialized charger with even longer range, at the expense of a longer charge. That is going to be the weapon for peeps who just want to go full murder.

You can only use other controllers in the 1vs1 dojo mode.
