The repetitiveness at the end doesn't really do that thing where it loops back to being funny though. One of the weakest tracks on the album IMO.
That doesn't mean it's bad. It's just that there's so many good tracks to compete with.
If Sports Song was a third as long as it currently is, it'd actually be one of my favorites on the record. As is though, yeah, it's just too long for me to dig on
I'm just hoping he spent most of his time getting all the people mentioned in 'Lame Claim to Fame' in for a cameo. Or that he just impersonates them all.
So any guesses as to which three tracks (plus NTWICP!) won't get videos? I can't imagine Jackson Park Express getting a nine-minute video (as awesome as that would be), and Sports Song probably doesn't need one, but of the rest I think Lame Claim to Fame would be the least likely.
I have no personal desire to see one for Inactive, but since it's a direct parody it seems probable.
I wouldn't expect to see Mission Statement get a video. It's one of the longest songs, it's all meaningless phrases, and based on a group that I don't think has ever done music videos.
So which song will todays video be...humm. I'm thinking there wont be one for jackson park express or polka, the other two that i dont think are really video-friendly are mission statement and probably sports song. Sports song might make a good video but its the shortest cut on the album (only 8 seconds shorter then foil...but still).

So the Handy video; yeah, I'm not really feeling this one. It doesn't help that the music is pretty terrible. I guess there are some songs that even Weird Al can't salvage. I had never heard of 'Fancy' until looking it up after listening to 'Handy'. Like, not just 'I hadn't heard it'. I hadn't heard of it. Apparently it was the biggest song in the States for a few months or something? Strange.
Well, the other three videos so far have been pretty good, and Handy was one of the lowest ranking songs on the album for me anyway, so not really a big deal.

They all get videos, but they're usually all sped-up versions of the original videos. That seems like a lot of licensing hassles.
