Came home for my lunch break to check on and take care of sick kitty, figured I'd log on real quick and set up something to idle for cards for the afternoon (hello Agarest), and see a friend request waiting. Yep, PA person so I accept without much thought.

Looks like I'm pretty caught up on card drops now. Card quest did devolve into some straight up idling towards the end though.
Have 1 drop lingering on DOTA. And 3 on To The Moon. But To The Moon was freaking my virus software out, so that's gonna sit for now.

Can anyone compare Agarest: Generations of War to say Disgaea or Final Fantasy Tactics? Loved both of those, would I like this? Trailer/screenshots didn't help much.
Agarest is like FFT or Disgaea but it gets really repetative rather quickly. You also cant play it with anyone else in the room due to the soft core porn that is the 'generations' system. The PS version of the game had a collectors edition that came with a boob mouse pad.
Honestly, my wife might join me in the room for the porn aspect.
And then criticize the lack of "hardcore" within said pornish elements.
Because she is awesome.
Also, Marlow Briggs is a must for anyone who enjoys spectacle fighter games and horrible puns. The multitude of references to Big Trouble in Little China are just a bonus.

also, does everybody's steam make them jump through the verification hoop every time they log in from different machine? No matter how many times I tell it to recognize my netbook, I always have to do the email code thing (and then do it again when I log in at home.)

Did they ever resolve the fact that Bulletstorm required GFWL and it was being shut down?
