The way I understood that is that if you only want Bayonetta 2, you can get it cheaper on the eShop. Which would be a shocker.
I finished Wind Waker HD the other day, and this hate for Wind Waker is such horseshit. :P For a game with such a cutesy style and gameplay, Ganon is surprisingly subtle and malevolent. It had been so long since I played it (When it was new on the 'Cube), I had forgotten how well done Ganon was in that game.
My copy of Twilight Princess arrived today. I've never played it before, but I've heard it's one of the best of the Zelda games so I'm probably going to be doing that for the next few days and little else.
Twilight Princess is everything everyone always said they wanted in a Zelda game.

The late-game(ish?) discovery of
underwater, frozen-in-time Hyrule
stands out so strongly in my mind as a surreal and jaw-dropping moment that I'm worried replaying will show me that it isn't quite as great as I remember it being. Perhaps I'm wrong and it's just as magical a moment. Thoughts, HD replayers? I do plan to play WW HD when I get a Wii U.
For some reason Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword have all gotten their fair share of hate. But not from me, I love them all. I'm not saying they don't have flaws and annoyances, because they certainly do, but I think we're dealing with a fanbase that has been spoiled by a wealth of delightful games.

It happens about halfway through, I think, and it's not quite the same when you know it's coming.
But if you haven't played it in a while, it's worth the price. It looks gorgeous on the Wii U.
And you would think that being able to use the gamepad screen for quickly moving inventory items to the buttons would be awesome, but I found myself wanting to pause it anyway when I took my eyes off the TV, so it wasn't quite as awesome as it sounded.
I use a pro controller, too, and after trying the gamepad screen for inventory for a while, I just clicked it off and went back to using the pause screen.

Arguments could be made that any of them are the worst (non-CDi) Zelda game.
Zelda fans are essentially Dudley Dursley on his birthday, but if his birthday were every day of the year.
I had to look up who that was.
I know who it is, but I have no idea what that means.
Dudley Dursley meticulously counted his birthday presents. After receiving a small fortune in gifts, he nearly threw a fit because there were two fewer gifts in the pile than last year.
I'll have you know I had to look that up.
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.
Twilight Princess has a pretty cool style IMO. It's dark and relatively serious, but it's also weird in a unique way. The TP art designs in Hyrule Historia are my favourite.

They still got perfect scores for a reason.
I think arguments could be made that they are some of the best zelda games.
- Skyward Sword finally made the 3D combat properly challenging.
- Wind Waker offered up the best sense of exploration.
- Twilight Princess is perhaps the least original, but is also the most evolved version of the original Ocarina template. (plus Midna rocks)
In a lot of ways, 3D Zelda is 3D Zelda. There are dungeons and pseudo-dungeons on the way to the dungeons. There are gadgets and spacial problems to solve with the gadgets. And there's usually some awesome art design thrown in there too. I love playing them because it's some of the highest quality examples of game design there are. That said, they occasionally feel a bit same-y... or they reuse an environment one too many times.
I have a couple of questions about the One Piece game:
1. If I don't know anything about One Piece (other than it's an anime, comedy, and been around forever) would I enjoy this game?
2. How long is it?
3. Does it have online and offline coop?

3. Does it have online and offline coop?
1. Story wise it's completely original. As long as you have basic one Piece knowledge you should be good.
2. Between 15-20 hours, or more if you go for everything.
3. Console version has 2 player offline co-op for Colliseum mode only (3DS has 4 player for quests)

Mario Maker incorporates all sorts of amusing little details into its interface — everything from enemies that squirm and wiggle as you place them in the level to Mario Paint's annoying little gnat that entices you to waste time trying to swat it as you're trying to get work done.
So, the Wii U has been consistently outselling the PS4 in Japan, which is good for anyone hoping for more Japanese games. However, neither can do better than about 8000 sales per week, and the PS3 actually beat the PS4 last week! I really do think the next Nintendo console will be dual handheld + home, because if it's not portable, Japan just don't care! For reference, the 3DS is doing over 50 000 per week, and the Vita is also doing great. I think the Xbox One sold less than 100 units last week, didn't even crack the top 10.

Is there a (preferably legal!) way of playing imported Wii games?
My wife is getting back in to Excitetruck in a big way and I modded my original Wii to play import games (mostly because Paper Mario took SO long to come out over here) but now that's lost to the attic it leaves me with some discs I can't play. One of those games is Excitebots, which I'm convinced she'd love.
I'm guessing the answer is 'no' but has anyone had any luck playing imported games?
(They are genuine originals, not any dubious copied shit)

I believe the answer is yes, though I don't dabble in that kind of thing, so I may be mistaken.
Any way, we're not supposed to get into that kind of thing around these parts anyway.
Man I hope that makes it over here. Fatal Frame is one of my favorite games and that looks amazing. Not to mention i'm sure the interaction with the WiiU gamepad will raise the level of immersion to new heights for that particular series.

- The game will have more open areas
- Use the Gamepad as the "Projection Machine" which acts like a regular camera used to see & seal spirits as well as check their surroundings
- Takes place on the Hikayama Mountain, also known as the mountain of death
- There will be a lot of rain and water on the mountain in order to create a feeling of uneasiness for the player
