When/if we ever get this house we've been talking about for ages, I want to paint the gaming room portion of the garage with a giant risk board.
Man, my friends and I would all go and make treaties and shit then break them then break the game.

First person to break up my continent in Risk is the second person to loose. I kamikaze them or anyone else with no thought of winning, I just want to cause as much damage as possible.
And I don't get to play with the red army anymore, on account of me quoting '300' like a crazy man.
Now it puzzles me that somehow ebay locked my account because I was doing illegal postings?
I had not used ebay until last week in nearly two years.
I get my account back, look at the in account mail and saw a ton of werid emails.
When/if we ever get this house we've been talking about for ages, I want to paint the gaming room portion of the garage with a giant risk board.

I've always wanted to have a strategy board large enough so I could use those long sticks with the " L " bracket on the end and move pieces around like I was some sort of War General! 8-)

so I got three more of the scrap pile terrain models made tonight, in rough form. I'll get the gravel and sand glued on tomorrow night and then paint them tomorrow night, but I've got all the assembly done.
First I cut three more odd shapes out of cintra pvc board using my dremel and a cut-off wheel. Cintra is great for bases as it is the perfect thickness and it doesn't warp at all.
Then I took a razor and trimmed the edges, giving them a nice irregular bevel. Hardly precision work, but it really doesn't need to be.
Once they were cleaned, I just dug through the bitz boxes, found some appropriate parts nad trimmed them up. I used my model miter saw to cut through a bunch of the gears and an old barrel I had laying around, so that they will look like they are half buried in the sand.
Once I finished prepping the pieces, it was just a matter of laying them out and supergluing them into place.
all in all, about an hour's work for all three bases.
