Beardsmen of PAX South

It's never too early to start growing an epic beard that Hemingway himself would be proud of.

Since one of my cohorts that will be attending the show with me is hesitant to unleash his inner lumberjack, I figured I should put the call out to all those who have or wish to grow some awesome whiskers.

I'm starting from slightly longer than a stubble, planning only doing only minor shaping/trimming until January. So, post pictures/tips/encouragement and/or document your progress and let's make the inaugural PAX South the manliest one yet.

I tend to start growing my beard out after PAX Prime, so I should have some nice beardliness going on by South. I won't be winning any contests, but it's enough to keep warm with.

Of course this is all providing I make it to South. So we'll see.

I think Zerzhul would just look strange clean shaven. I don't know how Lexicongirl would look.

Despite all my hesitation when you proposed this "start a beard in the middle of summer" nonsense, I have oddly not shaved since the day we discussed it. Beard on, my PAX South brothers (and LexiconGrrl)... Beard On.

Every year I grow out my beard for Movember and shave it down to a goatee in May (mostly so I can grow it out again). This year will be no exception and I'm looking forward to being beardly again.
