Just got to put the first "Y" in the "In Clan?" column on the PS4 sheet (Congrats, Achire!). I'll update it periodically every few hours from now until we get near 100 members, and then I'll handle [PA2]. Thanks for your patience as you get in-game and set your clan on Bungie.net.

Based on Datto's stream just now, there is no clan view in the Roster. The screen looks exactly the same as it did in the beta.
I thought there was a clan column? At least that's what someone told me when I complained that there was no clan functionality in the game and that I obviously must have just missed that in the Beta.
Isn't there a way on the app to see who's playing online in the clan?
Yes, but this is very very suboptimal unless you want to have to add and remove people from your friends list as the clan changes.
Also means you gotta manually sync the clan roster and your friends list like once a week at minimum. Fun!

I hate the one ear thing and I have my PS4 sound running into my PC via DAC, so I have PC sound and PS4 sound all together. Can I just like, plug a USB mic into the front of the console or something? That'd be nice. Otherwise I will make do with the mono headset inside my headphones.
I only played warlock in the beta as well, anyone recommend a good video of gameplay differences between the three? Planning on hitting the sack for a few hours soon and waking up in time to play till morning!
edit: And did I miss the GiantBomb stream? Is that available anywhere? Stupid work.
It's about time I lived in a world where-in *playing Destiny* is a readily available commodity in my life.
Now just to solve this damned *raiding with friends* conundrum, for I am no social butterfly. Oh well, back in the glorious vanilla WoW days, the whole *raiding with friends* issue eventually led me to hang out with 40+ strangers/online-buddies thrice a week, and that wasn't so bad either.

Friendly reminder on the PS4 side: if you find that voice chat isn't working due to NAT wonkiness or for whatever reason, the best solution (and a good solution to find PAers for an activity, as when assembling a 6-man Crucible fireteam!) is to form a PS Party on the OS level. You'll miss out on some voice mod effects (cave echo!), but it's a solid way to organize a group, and it works.
Just paid off my preorder for a disk copy because I dunno boxes are awesome I guess.

Started using the Hand Cannon again. The zoom buff is noticeable and pretty nice. I don't know if the buffs were enough but using hand cannons just feels so right.

They have been very careful about their wording for months, only saying 'friends'. This has been a planned thing. I can't imagine why, but it is.

Does anyone know how chests work when in a group? Does only the person who opens it get something or does everyone?
You have to open it to get loot. But once someone in your group opens it, everyone in the fireteam has a limited amount of time to get to the chest and also open it.

hrrm, could of sworn I had the opposite problem when I tried in beta--I could hear friends okay in fireteam chat, but couldn't hear Playstation party chat
