Can I use a SATA HDD for laptops on a desktop PC?

Sometimes the same model for laptop can be slower...blue desktop drive is 7200 rpm but blue laptop drives are 5400 rpm so take that in to consideration.

Thanks. I don't mind slower speeds, since mine is a very low end computer anyway.

yeah the connectors are the same
