Got a call from a campaign in Michigan to go work on it.

Like paid job not volunteer stuff.

Called back got the guys voice mail. I mean it is Sunday, surprised they called me.

Not sure I want to move to Michigan.

I mean, DC is barely survivable and I have hella friends here.

Average temps in January in Amarillo is low 20s. You can get colder as you get farther north, though not a lot colder. They have blizzards all the time up in the panhandle.

Doesn't get far below zero much.

    Man, that's like....September. :)

EDIT: It's not, actually. October more like. I'm honestly surprised Texas gets that cold.

People are paying me to go to Michigan.

But they won't pay me enough I think.

You are dangerously low on Vitamin Game.

Gonna have to hook you up to an IV and pump liquid game directly into your brain.

    We'll start off with Daikatana

Even worse is when you learn how to analyze things. And then can't turn it off.

I enjoyed games so much more before I started testing them and trying to design them.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTPQgGfx9HI#t=863

their VO is a little dodgy but they sure as shit got this down better than Bioware did

they even have shep hanging up anderson's name on the memorial

I read a little snippet the other day about how lebron has a photographic memory so he remembers how particular players respond to moves for years and years from previous matchups

and it may have hurt him in some high pressure games because he couldn't stop thinking about past losses as well

    Yes

Good memory means memories do not shift or change, you retain experiences long after they become obsolete

    See Scheck's WoW example

Or, for a rodent example, you can change the ratio of NR2B containing NMDA receptors (which is what memory IS) and the rats will learn extremely quickly which chamber is the shock chamber. However, waaaaay after the other rats have realized the threat is gone, they will maintain avoidance of the area.

St Pete is a nice city downtown.

Lots of cool little shops and museums and things.

    Shame it'll be underwater soon.
