Given that I have often painfully felt the lack of burst in Zoo in close matches, I don't know if the boost to early game would be enough to offset the very real downside of playing Zombie Chow as I'm closing out a game.

There's also the question of what do you take out, as Haunted Creeper and Nerubian Egg have already culled the weakest one-drops (and both those cards are better than Zombie Chow).

I would replace voidwalker or flame imps with zombie chow. A 2-3 is better than a 3-2, imo, and playing two zombie chow over two flame imps lets you lifetap an additional three times! Which is huge.

You must consider that a zombie chows downside comes into play only if it is attacked and killed, so in one sense, zombie chow also has taunt. And taunt is less important in zoo if you are ditching the priestesses.

I'd likely ditch priestesses for zombie chows. She's the weakest 1 drop in the standard deck list as she doesn't give immediate value when she is played. Voidwalkers synergize well with all of the deck's battlecry buffs and flame imps are just too good to pass up in virtually any circumstance.

I assumed you already replaced your priestesses with eggs/abusive sergeants/creepers. (Shield bearers too, actually) replace the commanders with DID and you have a really strong deck with a ton of ways to activate eggs. Zoo is getting tons and tons of buffs. Dedicated face rush decks, not so much perhaps.

Also it may be that the undertaker turns out to be the best turn 1 drop. We will see. With a deck full of death rattles and some tempo cards like soulfire, they could be a big problem.

Deathlord is also a pretty good zoo card, as well as being a good anti zoo card.

In fact, I think we are quite close to just being able to make an amazing deck out of all the overbudgeted cards with drawbacks when they are played/die. Depending on the cards, they may simply let you establish an incredibly dominant position from the get go. If warlock hero power is nerfed, I think you are close to being able to make a highly creditable priest version, with pw:s, heals, the new priest minion, the zero cost silence card, clerics for draw, etc.

If you have a deck full of zombie chows, ancient watchers, dancing blades, deathlords, etc, and you follow that up with the ghoul that silences all your minions.... you are going to have an incrdibly dominating board presence.

There may no quite be enough cards to make this work yet, but after another expansion I bet there will be.

This deck type would be pretty hard countered by the druid poison card, though.

I'm pretty sure anytime a spell has a random component and the enemy has a choice between a 1/1 or a legendary, the thing I cast to destroy them (In this case, Deadly Shot) will a always choose the less powerful thing to kill. Because it hates me.

Also, Sludge Belcher and that taunt ghoul thing are annoying as hell against my hunter deck. I need to spruce up my decks with week two cards, haven't done that yet.

Turn 8: You play your Ragnaros, triggering your opponent's Mirror Entity secret, summoning a Ragnaros for them. At the end of your turn, you deal 8 damage to a 1/1 creature.

At the end of your opponent's turn, their Ragnaros deals 8 damage to your Ragnaros.

You know there's a selector that allows you to choose which set of cards to show between Naxxramas, Promo, Reward, Expert and Basic?

The little arrow thing that usually says "All Sets" in your collection next to the counter that says 9/9 Decks or 30/30 Cards, click on it and you can choose which of the 5 sets you want to view.

All of the hunter secrets are good. Some people question snipe, but the like, 33% of the time when it hits something like a drake/auctioneer/unbound elemental makes it all worth it.

It's being run in all of the Hunter decks in the WEC NA Qualifiers this weekend (all the Hunter decks are Beast decks) because of the Turn 1: Webspinner, Turn 2: Scavenging Hyena > Run Webspinner into something; interaction, as well as the fact that Webspinner replaces itself with a minion that almost always (Captain's Parrot & Angry Chicken aside) is better than Webspinner.

The WEC Hunter games have actually made me reassess Webspinner's usefulness. The fact that it's a Turn 1 Beast that you can play without feeling like you lost something (ie- if you had to Stonetusk Boar or Timber Wolf instead) to gain immediate board presence is actually kind of significant it turns out.

I've found Snake Trap actually rather difficult to work with now that people are on to it (and Buzzard being 2/1 now). I'm not sure it's worth the epic slot any more, though it is still a good card.

None of the WEC players have to ladder against Zoo. I used to be able to count on Explosive Trap and Snipe to slow Zoo down; now it just accelerates them because of Egg.

I think the most important thing about Webspinner is that it gives you options. There were several WEC matches I saw where Webspinner pulled a Savannah Highmane, or Stampeding Kodo, or Tundra Rhino, or even River Crocolisk. And sure, maybe sometimes you'll get something shitty like Silverback Patriarch. But it's still a beast card (thus providing synergy with other cards), and it's a taunt so it takes damage off your face, if only for one turn.

Also the mindfuck potential is huge. You could play a creature down and unless you opponent was paying super close attention to what card slot it was, they won't know if it was pulled from Webspinner or not. I mean, assuming it's not something wacky like Angry Chicken or Silverback Patriarch. Even better when Webspinner pulls itself!

More or less. Turn 7 I put Earth Elemental with Ancestral Spirit on it. Next turn I put another Spirit on it (big gamble, but he showed that he had no silence in hand). The turn after that I Facelessed it and ran the original into a enemy to spawn 2 more. The turn after that I played my second Elemental for the LOLs.
