I've got a fairly decent little jerry-rigged spray booth setup that I've used for guitars and bike frames. I could probably pink up a computer case well enough.

From what I remember reading earlier in the thread, that it isn't like the previous two games. As in, the combat system is fun, but it's not the ARPG loot-a-thon that most Diablo clones are, or have many/any of the hallmarks of the series past its backstory/humor. Also that it doesn't really bring anything new to the ARPG concept (which can be just fine or detrimental, depending on your outlook).
So in other words a fun game, just probably not fun enough for a new, full priced game. Something to get later or on sale.
For my part in the pedantic nonsense of words, and meanings and such annoyances earlier in the thread, I'm sorry; I only ever see that after the fact. If I do it again, feel free to PM me telling me I'm being a goose and I'll pull back the reigns. It's the misuse of words that bothers me and it's one of the easier buttons to push, unless I can tell it's obviously in jest.
However, I love abusing punctuation; semicolons are my friends.

Warning: Apparently the new Colin McRae Rally game that got released on Steam 2 days ago has NOTHING to do with the classic games that shared that name, no matter what the misleading description on the Steam store may sugget.
Instead it is a port of a recent mobile game.

I thought about buying it but then I watched the video. The car-on-ice physics gave it away as something shitty.
LTTP (as usual), but while I do like having the LED thing going on in my laptop (because lolAlienware), I also don't have them set to do anything bizarre, I just leave them all on blue 99% of the time. Sometimes I'll switch the keyboard zones to white if I'm actually typing anything of note. Anything beyond that is just if I feel like messing around for five minutes or if someone wants to see it in action. But having the keyboard, media keys, power light, status lights (NumLock/CapsLock), touchpad surround, Alienware logo and speaker grilles all glowing a gentle blue is, honestly, quite nicely relaxing.

If anyone is wondering that last case is a silent case with a lot of really good cooling. I own it, it's amazing.
Which case is it? Through the incredible generosity of @pixelated pixie abd @Lindsay Lohan I'm planning a new build and a quiet roomy case sounds good for my long term plans
2nd EDIT: Nevermind. I found it. It's the Fractal Designs Define R4, I believe.
Yep. It's the one I'm using right now, myself. Pretty silent, lots of space to mess with stuff, detachable disk bays, the works. It makes building the PC really easy and really nice - and it comes with pretty good fan dust filters, which is just one of the greatest inventions to ever exist. I would have liked a little more space between the motherboard support and the back of the case for cable management, and the rightmost USB in the front, at least in mine, is a bit blah and hard to make USB peripherals actually go in, but otherwise it's just aces.
It occurs to me that in 21 years of PC ownership (not counting previous computers!) I have yet to actually build one. I will rectify that one day. If I ever go back to using a desktop PC, anyway...

The one i have is actually this one but close enough. Its got a bunch of padding on the inside of the steel, the fans are super quiet, and the airflow and filtering are really good (i've cleaned the filters maybe once a hear in heavy use in a high dust environment and the inside is nearly pristine). I don't even use the top and side fan mounts.
Its the best PC case i've ever owned and my sentiments are basically the same as Drascin's. I could use a bit more space for some stuff but everything fits where it should and goes in easy. The only other thing i would say is that its heavy. Almost "1990's Steel Tower Case" heavy.

Unprovoked gifting makes this thread awesome and the world a better place.
It also gives me a break from the frustration I've been having trying to find someone to fix my sister's laptop for less than just under what it would cost ti buy a new one. It's a perfectly good one with Windows 7, but everyone wants more than $300 - $400 to fix a cracked screen and a bum keyboard- beyond my own abilities to fix personally. Sheesh... have I said how I envy some of you who are confident and skilled enough to build your own systems?
To keep us on topic, finished another runthrough of Loren last night, using Story Mode- and it still took me nearly seven hours to get through the game. Managed to nail the achievement for the final dungeon without a guide somehow, but there's a lot of them still to go. But I still think it's worth it. No, I'm not going to spoil anything- but the DLC is worth it. Every time I come back to this game, I'm not disappointed because I find something new I didn't see last run.
Now if only I could convince myself to play something else and actually make a dent in a 15+ game backlog...

Anyone who enjoys Loren the Amazon Princess should certainly try the same developers Planet Stronghold, which is the sci-fi equivalent (a certain notorious RPG forum refers to it as 'Mass Effect Gaiden').

Yeah, I've been thinking that despite the reviews, I still want to play it. I would already have if it weren't for the fact it needs a 64-bit Windows, and I'm stuck with 32-bit Vista until I get a job again.
I did some badge crafting, and I have some coupons to trade/give away. If any of these games sound interesting, offer a trade for the coupons on Steam! Most of these expire the 8th, so you have a few days. I'd give them away for free if I knew how...

So after some time with State of Decay, I can confirm it's a good game? The survival-ism is pretty sweet, requiring searching for different interest areas on top of tall vantage points a la AssCreed, limited cargo space, scarce ammo and weapons, noise is a huge issue, etc... It's really stressful gameplay. Like, I hate the way I feel investigating places by myself. So they're doing something right.
I'm not really into the house management part yet. I don't understand what yellow numbers mean, or if I should be getting certain resources or not? I assume if I'm like 25/25 on something I'm good and don't need it. Also the girl on the radio is spewing out events waaay faster than I can do them, which makes me upset that I can't do all of them or save every person. Finally, the people they put on the sniper's perch aren't exactly sharpshooters. I came back one night and there were zombies inside the camp while everyone was inside, and the guy on the tower was just firing away hitting nothing.
Other than that, the game is pretty buggy. Zombies sometimes spawn inside places you just cleared seconds before, which is annoying because you waste precious bullets or melee durability. I spent almost 30 bullets trying to clear out this warehouse, which had a pack of 5 zombies in it that spawned 4+ times. I also recruited Marcus to come help me on a quest at this farm, which turned out against my knowledge to be a protect this area quest, and he just disappeared before it started? This left me scrambling to fight hordes of zombies with barely any ammo and no melee weapon.
I am enjoying it though, and it has a great hold on the survival aspect of the apocalypse which is good. I'll probably keep playing it but I can't play it for more than a couple hours without getting frustrated or just stressed out lol.

The only thing Kalnaur is wrong about is it's most assuredly not fun. The reviews coming in are trashing it. It's really really bad. No loot, no levelling, no RPG to speak of at all; you have two moves per character and all you do is spam the attack button if the reviews are to be believed.

I hit my stride with this game, and it's certainly something you have to keep playing to learn how to properly play it.
You have to find and join an enclave in the game as soon as possible, and bring supplies in order for it to support itself.
Without building materials or ammo, you can't upgrade the shooting platform for better accuracy and bigger range, respectively.
You also need some building materials to make sleeping quarters, med tent, and a kitchen, among other things. Of which, depending on where your enclave is located, can have limited space for said facilities. So you also need to scout for better locations if you have the people and resources to stay in a better one.
By clearing homes, and building outposts. You can build slightly-safer zones that use traps to take out hordes. Having fuel on-hand can increase their range.
Food and medicine will keep your crew healed and maintained.
Never, EVER break food crates, medicine bags, ammo caches or building materials, unless you are actually in need of them. Put them in your rucksack (if there is more than one, then put them in a vehicle's trunk) and take them home. If the numbers turn yellow, then that meas you hit the max number allotted that the enclave can carry. You can increase that number by building storage units.
All of the above can be done in the tab that shows your enclave property, and you can issue commands from there. Such as; finding new survivors, build or improve a facility, scout for materials, make silencers or molotovs, train and toughen your community, etc. Provided you have the resources and influence...
