So I recently had some problems with my Dell XPS M140 laptop in regards to sound. I was able to hear sounds from any media player yet when it came to system sounds and stuff on the internet, I didn't hear anything. In addition to that, the volume buttons that are in the front of the laptop didn't work either.
Last night their tech support was able to help me get back the system sounds and such but the buttons still don't work. The buttons are mainly a luxury for me but i'm still under warranty. Should I send it to Dell for them to fix? Anyone have any experience with them and fixing computers for you? How long does it take? Is it worth it?
