Get one after about 15 minutes and get the pet immediately on use. Figure I still have time so I go fish in the Dalaran fountain for the last coin I need and get that too! Salty Varg all the way ;D

10m 3D is super easy to solo now. I don't think you even need to break 100k for it.
25m 3D is a bit harder, super easy to duo, solo I think you need to pull 150k+ the whole time for it to down him before the damage stacking gets too high. I imagine a hunter could do it no problem though, since your pet buys you so much time.
Fortunately both of those are 100% drop, so you only really need to do them once.
Only slightly related, I was looking at the mounts I've gotten recently and didn't realize the Azure Drake from Maly had a unique model...or at least different than your average drake. It looks pretty rad.
you can potentially make a fair bit of gold on pet arbitrage if you're willing to spend time on it; the problem is that you can really only move money one way, from high pop to low pop realms. I had a second character I knew I wanted to eventually transfer when I moved at the start of MoP, so for about a month I filled her transfer allowance up by buying pets on kil'jaeden and selling them.

One thing I didn't know about the CM gold sets was that various bits glow when you use abilities. It makes me curious what the weapons for Warlords will be like since Blizzard considers that to be a highly desirable slot. Are they going to go all out crazy with awesome effects or will they just be regular weapon skins?
I finished the last daily achievement yesterday that I was missing. I guess I can keep grinding for rares on the Timeless Isle for that stupid achievement, but meh. I think I'm done logging in outside of raid nights, and there's still three more months to go.
Gotta make goals to stay interested. Personally, my goal is now to get that Felfire Hawk when WoD releases. That requires 250 mounts, so I made a spreadsheet detailing almost every mounts I had yet to get in-game (leaving out TCG and Blizz store) along with where to get it, how much it costs, and if there's a rep or achievement associated with it then how far along I am. Then I picked a couple to work on, taking it one day at a time to break it into smaller goals.
So now each day I do my Argent Tournament dailies for Champion Seals, do Hyjal dailies for Marks of the World Tree, and run ZG for those two bosses. Each week I solo Onyxia, Malygos, Attumen, and Kael'thas on my DK and only my DK. I'm not grinding for anything, since I don't want to burn out, I just do my one run and done. I might then park myself in Deepholm to do homework while I wait for Aeonaxx or someone in the guild might propose a run of an older raid for transmog gear/achievements.

I'm doing the majority of what Madican outlined, with the addition of daily profession cooldowns to make easy gold so I can buy the pricey crafted mounts/expensive yak. (Speaking of the yak, any clue yet as to what is replacing the reforge vendor? Not sure I want to drop 100+K gold for a hope of something cool).
Another surprisingly fun thing is the brawler's guild. I am down to three challenge cards left to find. Unfortunately they are found by pet battles, fishing, and the darkmoon fair.
Watching the Giant Bomb videos has also made me think about resubbing for a bit having quit just before Cata. Would I be better off waiting until the big patch before WoD, or is now still a good time to play and hit the current level cap?

Doable...but destro makes it a cake walk by comparison. My tips, watch a video to get the phases down. Just stand in the reign of fire, it's not a big enough threat and it'll just lower your dps and mess with your concentration. Related, use your pitlords healing ability. Outside of phases always be standing in front of your pitlord and spamming his cleansing flame.
purification pot will let you basically reset the fight by cleansing the curse of mega doominess...can't remember it's name, his enrage timer basically.
The video last thread that showed using havoc and timing your pitlords charge+double dmg debuff for just as chaosbolt is about to hit the felhunters really made it a breeze. the felhunter phase was what always got me.

Helpful hint on the DMF one: the bags can be sent to another character on your account....use a bunch of alts during DMF week to give yourself a better chance of getting it.
Bah. Brawlers Guild. Still missing the Vial of Reddish Ooze because it refuses to drop from the scenario chests. After that it's archaeology but I really don't want to do that one until I get the Vial. Other than that I got Rank 10 at about ilevel 515 I think?

Yeah, I could see bank or void storage being equally viable there, though there are already a few items that offer bank access in the game so I'd venture to guess that of those two, void storage would win out. The thing with void storage though is that it's pretty much intended to be a straight-up deposit box (especially since the change in...5.3 or whatever patch it was that allowed you to transmog without having to remove items from it) so its usefulness seems like it would be diminished in that regard. So maybe a banker would be the more viable option of those two.

I love the Razer Naga Hex. Nice amount of buttons without being overwhelming. The Razer app is solid too.
This is the mouse I use. I've set my hotkeys up in sets of 6 and then use modifier keys to access them. I just leave the six thumb buttons at the 1-6 keys.
We consistently had the issue of one person in the group asking for a mailbox and then having 6-7 pop up on their heads, and then nobody had a mailbox for the next hour.
I am far better at playing Affliction since I can pull it off watching tv or doing a number of other things

I want to say I was at level 6 last time I did it, but that was back at ToT time iirc, and I was in mostly 483 gear.

My main is an engineer, but my alts aren't, and mounts are account-wide. Having a mailbox on the Yak would still be nice.
Today went to Timeless Isles, found several pieces of armor.
But gawd damn do the elites there hit hard, I doubt the rare do any more favors either.
Might be able to kill an elite, maybe depending on what, but only one at a time.
Definitely need a better weapon.
