Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see MODOK on film, zooming around shooting rockets out of his earmuffs, giving little kids nightmares. But that would be a pretty major stylistic departure from Winter Soldier.
Then again, Winter Soldier was a pretty major departure from First Avenger. So maybe I'll just trust them to keep doing what they do well.
Well they say the specific stumbling block is how to make MODOK work in the MCU context
Inhuman continues to be a really rad book. One of my favorites.
Original Sin is kinda okay but mostly just middling
ANXM was straight up bad, Bendis cannot write X-23 at all
Annnnd Thunderbolts made me kinda mad
Punisher "kills" the Spirit of Vengeance using a sword he stole from Zadkiel, keeping Johnny Blaze alive but he's no longer Ghost Rider.
Which bums me out because I really like the dude and this is the second time it has happened in like 5 years
Wait...WAIT.
In what realm does a conflict between
fucking GHOST RIDER and the Punisher end with the Punisher WINNING?
Like my ultimate pitch for Punisher:THE END is just The Punisher stalling Ghost Rider as long as he can while killing mooks before the Ghost Rider catches up to him, because there is no realm where that fight would go the Punisher's way.
Like NONE
I always thought in a "the end" mini a like 80 year old Frank would become Ghost rider
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
I've actually seen people say they like it better than the Urban version.
Needless to say, I reported them to the nearest street judge for a sentence no less than five years in the iso cubes, with the possibility of on-the-spot execution.
I like both for different reasons.
But Urban's Dredd is the better film.

That would have made sense to 15 year old me. Frank could be Old Rider with the Punisher Van as his vehicle, yes.
But considering how many people he straight up murder's for being in the way/vaugley associated with crime, he more than likley has a few "innocents" on that leger. People pulled into crime because there was no other way/that's the environment they were raised in(see:every interaction with Frank and drug-dealers).
My ideal end for Frank is when those "innocents"(Even though Frank dosen't percieve them that way) outweigh the good he's done and the Rider finally comes after him.

That sounds like an awesome idea.
The kind of idea where it's followed up by the thought "How has this not been done already?" It just seems like a natural pairing up. The Punisher becoming the incarnation of the Spirit of Vengeance once his body is so broken by his life long war against organized crime that it's the only way he can continue.
I wonder how many undercover cops Frank has accidentally shot. I wonder if NYPD has a some sort of recommendation on if your undercover and the Punisher pops in. Do you drop cover and try to arrest him? Keep cover and try to shoot him? If he has disabled you and is about to shoot you, are you allowed to drop cover?

just make him a giant head thing in a floating apparatus. he's constantly wheezing, can't even speak without the aid of machines. give him a voice like a cross between those things people who got mouth cancer use and Stephen Hawking. he'd be terrifying.
Killian's head recovered by A.I.M. because they couldn't repair his body after the Pepper Asskicking.
Yes.
EVERY SINGLE YES
I would be 100% ok with this. Only problem of course is how it'd tie in with Cap instead of Iron Man
That's the beauty of it.
A.I.M. isn't just an Iron Man villian.
With Hydra outing itself and subsequently weakening itself, as well as the fallout after Avengers 2, the remnants of A.I.M. could see an opprotunity to step up and play with the big boys, so to speak.
Killian was still a genius, and harvesting/salvaging his brain in order to lead A.I.M. "global subsidiaries" wouldn't be all that bad of a leap, especially since you could use that excuse for him to....not come back all that "right".
Also the oh shit moment revealing Head Killian/Cyborg Killian/Whatever Killian as M.O.D.O.K would be TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Because of course Killian would have a private island base and delusions of grandeur.

So, here's a no-shit breakdown of what Quill's Walkman, headphones, and mixedtape are by brand and type taken entirely from shots in the trailers. Oh, and there's also discussion on where to find them on the market and how to use a cheaper version. Oh, and printable labels for the tape.

Killian is defeated in Cap 3 and somehow goes to the Asguardian underworld, where he cuts a deal with Hela to be Temptress bodyguard, where he takes on the name THE EXECUTIONER in time for Thor 3/4.
It's not really all that surprising he has no clue how to write X-23.
She varies wildly since her original depection was "Deadpan/depressed fetish hooker who cuts herself to feel(to linkin park. Okay, she didn't, but she did)",while at the time was pretty awesome since it's basically the exact opposite of Wolverine, it's a HORRIBLE CHARACTER TYPE.
So her solo series/every depiction since has been(understandably)running away from that at mach 30.
She's kind of a non-entity at this point, since she varies from emotionally stunted teenager with problems who's being sheltered by Wolverine, to literally female Wolverine.
So Bendis defaults to "Stock Woman dialoge 23".
There's a balance there, between her NYC depiction and her literally Wolverine depiction, but no one has found it so far.
I would have loved to have seen her and the NYC crew with the Runaways during it's prime.
When she was introduced into the comics, she was a feral wolverine clone. Then Quesada made her a teenage prostitute for some idiotic reason. However, once she was written by Craig Kyle and Chris Yost, who created her in the cartoons, she got much better and they established her character. They basically turned her into a Spock + Roy Batty type character who's really intelligent and competent but has little real life experience and can't connect with other people on a meaningful level.
However, things have been getting worse for her since her solo series ended. Writers keep forgetting that she's supposed to be smart and very competent, and turned up the Worf effect dial with her.

Marvel gets the Fantastic Four rights back, and so Thor banishes him back to Midgard where he lands in Latveria, amassing a fortune over some years and learning magic before declaring himself their king.
Speaking of X-23, Kimura is a great fucking villian, as much as I loved Emma Frost absolutly wrecking her shit, Kimura Vs. Wolverine/Sabertooth/Deadpool? was a missed opprotunity.

As cool as that would undoubtedly be, while MODOK and AIM are more than just Iron Man villains, Killian/Mandarin are not. It wouldn't sit right if Tony wasn't involved somehow, especially considering Killian would probably hold one hell of a vendetta.

I would say blow your cover and attempt to arrest everyone there.
You have a 60% chance of not only living, but everyone else agreeing to be arrested by you.
Because getting arrested is a hell of alot better than being shot in the head by the Punisher. Also, that's incredibly interesting food for thought.

Stuff like "how does the police department deal with living in the same city as super heroes and villains" is why I wish we had gotten a Gotham PD show.
I love the stuff with "Mr. Knight" and the police in MK.
Lex has been gathering pieces and debris from the World Engine and he has used them to synthesize Kryptonite. Meanwhile he has also gotten ahold of Zod's corpse, and it is the key to his master plan to defeat Superman. He uses that tissue to... well, that would be spoiling. But Superman hasn't been defeated many times in the past. You can probably connect the dots from here.

What's Zod's corpse got to do with Muhammad Ali? Is Lex going to make a pair of boxing gloves out of Kryptonian tissue or something?
