Time window to edit a post?

Hello,

I have a post in the room share thread that I wish to edit, having already had a few people inquire about the room and I'm currently processing things for them. I want to change it so others won't see the room spot listed as available and ask about it, when they should be exploring other options. Is the one day window firm or is there a way to make changes to posts after a day has passed?

If nothing else, it's going to cause problems when the spot does get filled if I'm unable to mark the post as such.
