Ack, Make a Strip panel is on *Sunday*, and with no more Q&A, those of us only going Friday and Saturday just get a couple autograph sessions and Acquisitions, Inc. when it comes to G&T.

That breaks my heart a little. The Paramount is so beautiful, it feels like the perfect place to begin and end PAX... then again, maybe I need to wait until I've experienced Benaroya Hall before I get too disappointed. It'll be new to me, outside of the surprise Pinny Arcade meetup last year.
I... I... there is so much... how do I choose? TELL ME!
But seriously, this is my first PAX, and, man, I just never expected there being SO MUCH TO SEE. This is like, both amazing and terrifying.
Uhm... aheh, well... time to start making a schedule... I guess my first question is: Do you think that getting to Thrown Controllers one hour early is enough to guarantee a spot? I kinda also want to go to the Trans against Humanity panel, but that ends at 12, while Thrown Controllers begins at 1. I just wonder if that is enough time. To be fair, there is another trans related panel or two, but not a specific one. on the other hand, I don't know anything about CAH, so some of it might be lost on me anyways.
Man, after discussing the schedule with my friends, Saturday night just seems like a big clusterfuck of enjoyable/popular panels.
They've got the JS Joust round of the Omegathon, the inaugural Game Grumps panel, Chainsawsuit Live, Acquisitions Inc., and the Improv Initiative, all in a two hour timespan. It really makes me sad that I'm going to have to pick a single panel from that pool.
Well, to be fair literally the only two things on my list are Thrown Controllers and the AVGN Movie, but even the latter is subject to change. But still, yeah... gunna be tough to work out a schedule with the BF. Will show him the schedule tomorrow and we can pick 3 definite gotos, like the FAQ said.
About how many panels is reasonable? Not that we want to be in the convention center the entire time.
And I feel your pain Lazorz. Thankfully Sat Night looks sorta free for me really... maybe... depends... probably not.
most of the panels are not actually in the convention center. Only the theaters with W in their name are in the convention center. The others correspond to their respective venues with S-names being the Sheraton hotel and H names being the Hyatt.
For the last two years, I've been making a Google Calendar and sharing it with the people who are going with me. We each go through the schedule and add everything that interests us, even overlapping events.
It's literally impossible to see everything that you add to the list, and you're going to miss out on a lot of what makes PAX great if you spend all of your time in panels. However, having a schedule like this will provide a quick and easy reference for when you DO feel like doing something, as well as making it easy to coordinate who all wants to be where at specific times.
That makes sense. Need to wrap my head around that. X3 I keep imagining a single big building... will need to look over the maps some.
Anyways thanks ya'll. Will have to at least get a few definites down, and go from there. I want to make sure I get in some time with others in the freeplay room, get to see the sites, go on some nice dates.
Oh! An actually not stupid question: The console and handheld tournaments: can anyone sign up for these, or are the contestants already chosen? I would suck, but losing can be fun too.

I'm actually a little sour about the main theater being back at Benaroya this year. For those who don't know:
Benaroya is a symphony hall. It's a very nice place with very comfortable seating and plenty of cool balcony seats if that's your thing. It's good for panels and more calm sit-down concerts like Friday night (Triforce Quartet, Doubleclicks and Paul & Storm will do very well in there).
Rock shows, however, tend to be pretty lackluster. There's also a couple of other down-sides to this too. Unlike at the Paramount, the seats can't be removed, which means two things; attendance has to be capped to basically how many seats there are (which in the end is a lot less than what the Paramount can hold), and it means you are pretty much confined to whatever seat you end up in. So if you like to dance and rock out for concerts, you're basically out of luck. You can stand up in front of your seat but that's about it. I'm sure plenty of people don't really care and this won't bother them, but I know there are people out there who have not been to Benaroya and enjoy doing these things, so now you will hopefully know what to expect.

Also its a decent walk compared to how close the paramount is.
Yeah that's a good point too. It's not that bad in general, and at least you don't have to walk somewhat up-hill at all like you do for the Paramount, but it is farther.
Will the locations for the S2 Cosplay Masq. and Contests on Saturday be added to the Schedule. Would love to see them and get photos, but all the site says is: "At the Washington State Convention Center". Not very helpful.
There's a Markiplier signing! So excited to see this pop up. Along with the Chobot panel almost first thing Friday morning. I have it limited to one panel a day. Hubby and I made that mistake our first year. We had so many panels and didn't make it to most of them. Lesson learned. More time for the floor.

2015 PAX Prime Omeganaut (I will forever hate Katamari)
I must admit, this is my first time taking a hard look at the schedule. I have been to 3 PAX events and not once attended a panel. This year will break that cause it turns out that I missed a lot not going to them.
Attended: PAX Prime 2010, PAX Prime 2011, PAX Prime 2012, PAX Prime 2014.
Attending: PAX Prime 2016

I kinda wanted to see all the Omegathon rounds, but I don't want to miss out on the Sakaguchi panel. And I've heard you need to line up for panels like 45 minutes prior to them started...this is my first PAX so this is going to be very interesting.

It doesn't help you, but it looks like they're still going to do a standalone Q&A on Monday as well:

I saw it in NYC on Friday. If you're an AVGN fan you'll love it.
And is there an expo hall map up anywhere yet? The Guidebook app is still MIA so I'm assuming no.

IIRC, the expo map usually pops up about a week after the schedule has been released.

Halp gais?
An hour between panels is /probably/ enough, but it's hard to know for sure.

I assume this information will be on the map once it's released if it's not already on the schedule somewhere.
