Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
So apparently Arcsys shut down a website containing frame data/hitboxes etc for UNIEL that was built and compiled by a community member. Kind of a bad PR move on their part.

a very handy video on how each member of the cast can punish ibuki ex dp, with or without kunai follow up
I hit Kilroy with the only good gouken reset I know earlier today
off a back throw you do a cr. hp xx mk demon flip kick
you can do lk demon flip throw
It's the least safe reset in the world since if they see it happen they can like mash any AA reversal to swat you, but it'll work every now and then I assume

I try to avoid unsafe resets
My focus with Gouken is to keep them at halfscreen as long as possible, then focus on neutral jump Fierces and crossup Forwards
When they don't play nice, I will throw MP fireballs and try for far-distance rush punches and demon flip slides

make goukens back throw into a 5 frame+ startup hcb p command throw
and make his back throw work as a normal ass throw with normal ass tech times

the best way to beat all of my yang resets/mixups:
Honestly Kongoshin is best used really sparingly since if they know you're looking to do it they're gonna bait it and that move has the recovery time like woah
my favorite tool for dealing with people are dashes honestly
Gouken's forward dash is so good I just dash forward then take a step or two back to like Intimidate them into backing off at half-screen, and if they never react to it then you dash twice and then forward throw them for Easy safe jumps!

Also kongo's hitbox screws up in a weird way against the new characters
I guess not a lot of folks are playing on xbl any more?

Gouken is a character I pick to fight people like Vega and Dhalsim who crack under pressure
well in theory at least, I'd need to learn how to apply pressure for that to really work out in my favor
Teach me how to fight those two chars as Gouken
I cannot stand fightint either atm
well my theory of how that fight should go as gouken should be a plasma chucking until you either push them to the corner or swat them out of the sky and can demon flip in, and from there you have to stick to them like glue neither has great options on wake up or up close, they're both focused on landing long range normals and using their large throw range to chip you away slowly
you have to bully them to playing into your strengths, which for gouken is full to half-screen and then up close, you absolutely have to find ways to put them in either of those zones
and I've yet to find a consistent answer to AAing vega's flying barcelona but I think jump back heavy punch or medium punch might be the answer there??? maybe light punch, that one is active forever

oh actually hanzo probably has some
They wanted everything down, footage and all. Even youtube accounts that he didn't own.
Sounds as if it was a Nintendo-like lawyering with a lack of understanding in their community.
I had been wanting to know what to do in that scenario for fucking ages
Having trouble staying consistent
it's just everything in between he has trouble with
Here's like 30 minutes worth of Gouken resets and setups.
I am, but just finished a long series
My Steam is Banana Ghost currently, though, for future use

mash crouching jab/short
there you go
I'm really bad at dealing with pressure, especially crossups
I need to up my kongoshin game

especially against elena
Yeahhh it's not just the new chars
I've gotten whiffed kongos against Abel on dumb shit, like low short
even dan does better
The twins are characters I have a hard time against, but I haven't played against them a lot. My Gouken threatdown looks like this:
1. Akuma
2. Dhalsim
3. Twins
4. Ryu
5. C. Viper
Yang, Yun, Cammy, Guy
It's always a bunch of bad spiral arrows and wannabe uppercuts, which are great for Gouken

do close stand mk into lp fireball
forever

I probably overestimated his threat level, though--it's just that there's one RL opponent I have who occasionally throws a 'Sim into the works.
I haven't the faintest idea how to deal with Akumas who stay midfield and spam air fireballs.
i have been busy or playing other things lately but im still around
