Old Games and Backlog thread
Hey SE!
Get up off your butt and play through that stack of games you shoved behind those science journals so no one would see them! You're not fooling anybody! We saw what you bought in the steam sale and literally never installed!

Or play that old classic you go back to every few years! Hasn't it been too long? Don't you miss your old favorite characters?

Or hell, maybe its time to go back and play a classic you've never played before!

Talk about your backlog of secret shame, your old favorites, or some stuff you've always meant to play but never got around to!

I have too many steam games to list but in particular need to get around to La Mulana, VVVVV, and Bro Force
And I have 100 dollars in Lufia SNES games that I've literally never touched sitting on my shelf
I'm paralyzed and don't even know where to start!
Bulbasaur is still the best one
I am why capitalism succeeds.
I will need...some time to compile a full catalog of shamefully unplayed games.
I've found that trying to focus on all of them at once is completely useless
Don't bother
Pick 3 that you really want to hit and try to knock them out one at a time
Also everyone buy lethal league dont play it for a day so its backlog
I want to!
I just have so many things!
I also need to play Time Force now that its out on Steam but I don't know if that counts as backlog
I have played this game a truly embarrassing number of times
But this time
This time I'm just going to wrench everyone to death.
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
You can play bronan the barbarian
Jrpgs i have completed: 3!?
This will be here until I receive an apology or Weedlordvegeta get any consequences for being a bully
Shining Force 2, my favorite tactics RPG!
It has a Samurai Rat!
One of the Shining Force games I think
Shining force 2?
I would tell people were all the cool hidden people were and who to take and ditch
but then they said my force was really tricky to play with since it was a well oiled machine A assists B assists C and on down
It was not for everyone it seems
Bioshock 1 was so great, and I think Bioshock 2 was fun even if the story was bad.
I on the other hand liked infinite far more than either of the previous games
Opinions!
DId you know the shoes you can loot from the prison where Slade is being held will make you immune to Muddle and make a squeak squeak sound as you walk
They don't make you immune to muddle, I tested that
They do give casters a glitch spell called HIGINS that doesn't do anything though
I think I still want a list to track some sort of overall progress (and to impress upon myself how much I should not buy new games).
But you're right. I'm focusing on SM3DW for now, and will probably tackle Alan Wake next. Not gonna try to prioritize beyond that just yet.
Space engineers has had like 8 updates since I last played
I really need to get back into that
My favorite weird thing in that game is that the giant statue TAROS who guards the caravan can drop his sword when you kill him, but only very rarely
It's a really good sword
And noone can equip it.
I have no idea why its in the game.
I need to get through them sometime.
How did you end up with all of them if you never played any of them?
I mean, I kept buying them and not finishing them because I don't like them, but that's because I'm an idiot

Lococycle is 1.99
It's older than a year, so I'm saying yes.
While waiting for Destiny and Far Cry 4 and in between Diablo sessions, I loaded this back up on the 360 and I swear I'll beat it this time. I dig a whole helluva lot about this game, but godDAMN, I wish my stamina didn't drain so fast. It's tedious to run for short stretches, walk while stamina recovers, and then jog some more to get anyfuckingwhere. THIS is why there are fast travel systems! At least I played OG version so my copy of Dark Arisen let's me used the unlimited ferrystone. Just need more of those crystals to drop over this whole map.
My Steam
It was during hte few years where I was addicted to evequest 2 and then world of warcraft.
They would come out, I would like the concept, and I would buy it with the intention of getting it.
But then I'd walk in the house and turn on the pc and log on.
It didn't actually register just how many ps3 games I had bought and barely even opened.
Speaking of which, I really need to finish The Last of Us before I give into my consumer desires and buy Invisible Inc
(I probably won't do that)
I don't either!
I'm not the only one!
I liked that game but the writing was kinda boring and I got bored with it at some point
I'm not sure I'll go back
Sleeping Dogs
Xbox One:
Crimson Dragon - Gold
Strike Suit Zero -Gold
Wii U:
Pikmin 3
Pushmo World
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
3DS:
Etrian Odyssey 4
Crimson Shroud
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner Soul Hackers
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars
Vita:
Persona 3 Portable
Danganronpa
Rogue Legacy
Tearaway
Fez - ps+
Dragon's Crown - ps+
Metrico - ps+
Right now I'm working on Persona 3 mostly, along with some Rogue Legacy and some Tearaway. I'd love to not purchase games until I've cleared all of these, but I'm definitely picking up Destiny in a couple of weeks... So that statement is clearly a lie I just tell myself so I can sleep better at night.
That is a game you want to see through to the end.
Yeah, same here. I loveddddd the gameplay of it but I found that I really need a strong story there to propel me through to the end.
Steam
I definitely want to finish it, don't get me wrong
But man clickers are scary
There was a bin of them at our local game store around the year 2000 and they were, well, super-cheap
The last major release I played was Tomb Raider.
My backlog is extensive
that game is REALLY fuckin stylish
