I'm actually not too big on the newest album, so I'm hesitant to put up the cash for it like his previous two LPs. But "Overdrive" and "Shoulder of Orion" never get old so it's okay
I really like the rhythms of 80's Stallone. His Hotline album is distilled victory music.
The highschool bully has been defeated. It's time to shuffle center stage with the girl of your dreams & your misfit crew.

Redline is a great album and Overdrive is it's glorious pinnacle
I want to drive an Audi at night, wearing aviators, with Overdrive playing on repeat
One of my best friends normally listens to country music and stuff, but sometimes he'll put on industrial goth and crank the volume up loud enough to hear across the street just to take a nap.

A club in Sheffield does a cybergoth night first saturday of everyone and I am a regular
every time I go I check and yes, I am the only person on the dancefloor whose footwear is not entirely black!
Aww c'mon. I used to wear Doc Marten's exclusivley until they moved the production from the UK. The next pair ripped at the part behind the toes where they bend after less than a year.
SILLY! I used to walk em out (wear down the sole).
Also I still wear black all over. Makes dressing so easy because everything matches. (I'm 44)

I like my blue just past being a teenager shirts and t-shirts, jeans and converse, which is fine for going out and I'm not bothered if I don't fit in but does probably result in people being a little surprised when I turn up to a cybergoth night.
Le Cassette are cool. Very embracing of the retro style, classic club music
You may also like Trever Something, Chico! They are on the same youtube channel and it's less heavy night-life neon synths and more lazy summer evening waves
Unfortunately finding their stuff on youtube without big haired ladies in not much clothing sprawled on sports cars as the cover image is tricky, but I persevered for the sake of the forum's sensibilities...

I couldn't find the general music thread, so I'll ask in here I guess.
Do any of you all have any experience with turntables, and could recommend a decent one that can rip records to digital formats through USB for $150 or less?
I was looking at this one but I don't really know what I'm doing here.
It occurs to me reading that again that I should have made it clear that they're legal free downloads; I get them from this place, along with the other sites at the top of that page.

So TDOT posted one of their videos over in the Youtube thread, but I've been digging Mystery Skulls new stuff so much I wanted to post it in here as well.

Does a lot of remixes as this one is one of the exorcist theme
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs!
bonus round: this has been my ringtone for years and i can't bring myself to change it:

he's a huge fan of Viking metal but produces EDM, even though he doesn't really listen to it
cover art is pretty NSFW so I'll put it in a spoiler. I'd feel bad not linking to his actual youtube channel though

Good music for the next Mass Effect. But seriously I like it. AstralChill ?
some people call it psybient but you know EDM artists they love that shit
Personally I am really into my slow chilled dance music these days with a nice flowing bass
makes a good contrast on a mix to DnB, Dubstep and all that
That's how it began (and Kraftwerk)
This shit is from the early 80s but the beat is still Great
(they used cassete (tape) recorders for the beats..like 20)

In other news it's hardcore industrial night at a local club on saturday, and also Halloween. Need to get myself in the proper mood for it!

Ghost, both fan animated and official video, both fantastic. (official one has a jump scare right at the end)

I've probably listened to Ghost 30 times over the last 4 days, that song has it's claws in me something fierce.
Oh and something most folks do not know:
