I think it can be equally enjoyed by both kinds of people
I'm doing the same. I have no idea what it's about (I mean, obviously U2), but I dig old U2 and love Adam Scott, and it's all you guys talk about, so that's enough for me. Enjoying the first episode already, 5 minutes in.
How about people who also don't like Scott Aukerman
That was the one thing that made me hesitate downloading it - I really can't make CBB something I enjoy. Maybe it's just the episodes I tried, but I found it really irritating.
As someone who really likes YTU2TM, if you don't like Scott Aukerman then that show is going to make you take a hammer to your listening device.
that's kind of a hard one to get around, I imagine
is it more CBB's style of humor or Scott Aukerman in partic?
also how do you feel about adam scott
If you don't like Scott Aukerman U Talkin U2 To Me will probably easily be your most hated podcast of all time
It's hard to put my finger on why I don't like CBB
Aukerman is definitely the major thing that bugs me, I just find him grating
But the show overall I just find a little too meandering and unfocused
But in recent years I've developed a dislike for a lot of improv comedy so it's maybe just a bad time to try to get into something like CBB
i was writing a post trying to find a way to recommend UTU2TM anyway, but... yeah, I don't think it's doable in good faith if Scott is the dealbreaker
it's much more casually funny and isn't really improv like CBB, but it is full of meandering, repetitive nonsense

I tried listening to Sex Nerd Sandra and I just couldn't get into it. For some reason just the way she talked kind of pulled me out of the subject. I dunno.
Sometimes it's TBS Very Funny, but other times it comes off as a little snipey, a little mean-spirited.
I thought you were exaggerating but no
It is probably longer than two minutes
Something about the dynamic of Scott and Scott just shines, though. Paul F. Thompkins described UTU2TM as being the essence of those late hours in the night where things start to get slap-happy, and the silliness of the room just snowballs and it is great
Plus he had the tables turned during Wompler's Birthday Party by Zouks
Yeah, I've sort of been more off than on with listening to her stuff. She used to have a co-host who was funny and I felt like he helped to tie the show together better?
By herself it is sort of... I dunno. It has some interesting info and... things to try etc. But it is very much hit or miss
Episode 1: She's a callgirl, not a ho ho ho!
Episode 1: She's a callgirl, not a ho ho ho!
That stuff drops wayyyyy off as you get into later episodes.

Maybe it depends on how the person he's talking to reacts. If they really flounder I cringe a bit and maybe that affects how I perceive the original comment?
I can't think of any particular instances I could use to figure this out, off-hand. Brains are weird.
At some point in every episode Scott and Scott DO go through an album track by track
So all the fun aside
It is a U2 podcast, sometimes. Like maybe 30% of the time

The segment where they play songs for Todd Glass and ask him if it's U2 is probably my favorite segment of any podcast ever.

He's a Handsome Actor Guy who's been in a Scorcese movie
Why is he doing a podcast within a podcast called "You Popping My Stones?" where theme is 3 seconds of Start Me Up and then he says hey bro you popping my stones and then it's over
Same thing with John C Reilly
