I got blue arms that have a handcannon bonus, then I got a nice handcannon. Tried it out, one shoting errything. It even has 4 shots.

For those having difficulty with Phogoth, the boss of the moon, his weak spot is his bloated belly.
I beat him easily the first time with a level 17 PUG and one of them dropped out shortly after the final fight began.
The second time I ran through that fight, after levelling to 20, with a forumer and a rando (somehow we skipped the whole strike and began at the door to the boss). The rando was a vegetable and dropped after a few minutes. The fight was pretty tough, though, perhaps because I was over-levelled, and we were attacked by 4 wizards and 4 knights, plus acolytes and thralls, for most the time. I had to switch out my new weapons and break out my old trusty sniper to blast his huge guts for 3k damage a shot and it still took a long time and several deaths.

Yeah I have an ace hand cannon 11 shots, range increase and like max impact. Even in pvp its nice especially with the blade dancer, lunge attack an enemy and then at most two shots and they are dead.
Oh also the back stab blink strike does one shot a full shielded player even a titan.

Anyone closer to 20 having problems with skills leveling? As a warlock and at "22" my third tier skills aren't leveling, like not at all-they're still grayed out and have no green progress bar around them and haven't for a long while.
Anyone wanna Destiny with me? Just got off work, annoyed and stressed and angry. Going to be drinking and shooting Vex, Hive, and Fallen... and maybe other Guardians.

I get booted a lot, but I have a really bad internet connection, although that doesn't stop me with most games and I didn't have this problem during the Beta.

My internet was starting to behave when we were doing crucible and everything was going fine, but the last two games it let me play almost the whole game and then would boot me right near the end so it was too close to finishing to rejoin and then I didn't get any credit for finishing the game so no loot, and not even crucible marks.

Son of a bitch, I spent twenty minutes and had to go through four different team mates on that fucker a few hours ago and missed that completely.
Thoughts:
1. Just played Destiny for six hours. Wish I could play more, but I have to sleep.
2. As @BillyIdle said, [PA] was riding six-deep in the Crucible, crushing every Guardian foolish enough to stand up to our might, and later we hit up Rumble and had some very tight, exciting matches. Props to @Sousuke for revealing/showcasing the glory of the fusion rifle.
3. Like @OptimusZed, I'm going to be looking to run some Strike playlist tomorrow. Halfway to the 100-mark Crucible limit, but have to get there and also tackle the Vanguard marks.
4. Speaking of marks, people were asking how you get Vanguard marks. The map/menu says that you get 'em from the Strike playlist, and if you hover your cursor over each one, it'll tell you how many marks it provides. You can only get marks at level 18 and above, however, which was probably the issue someone mentioned having.
...5. I played for six hours and came back to a grand total of zero PMs, so it's safe to say that things are stabilizing on the group/clan front. Going to manage that a bit and then collapse in a heap.
I got a LMG that mows down enemies. Rocket launcher, move aside.
Got a great one that does arc damage. When you zoom, the fire rate goes down, but the damage increases. Given how accurate it is, it's a mean little thing.
Also, I love that I've put three days into this game, gone across three planets, a moon, and the asteroid belt, and I still have no idea what the main villain even is. Is it the Vex? Is the Cabal's Emperor? Is it the Queen's gaping asshole of a Brother?
Didn't really like LMGs, but then again I've only tried the one so far and it had massive recoil that made bursts impossible.
Mine has really good stability, so it's almost like a laser. I can't remember the last game I played that made me look at stats so intensly. Everytime new loot gets awarded I'm double checking everything to make sure it's good or bad.
The Stranger says the Vex are "So evil they hate evil" which is a very silly thing to say
If anyone is like me and has a million Strange Coins, here's what to do with them:
Xûr, Agent of the Nine is an ally that can only be described as a black market figure, selling extremely rare and useful items. One of the items he sells requires a “Black Market Coupon.” As we can see from many of the Exotic quality pieces of equipment, it seems that Xûr plays an important role in acquiring these items.
He sells many Exotic weapons and armor for Strange Coins. There’s more interesting items that he has access to as well:
A Mournful Gun
Pristine Golden Age Ammunition Module
Weapon Telemetry
Darkness Infused Weapon Frame
Emerald Coil
Glimmer
Helium Filaments
Though not much is known about Xûr, he will clearly be an instrumental part of our 20+ experience. There is a Grimoire card for this individual as well, in the “Tower Allies” deck. He only appears on weekends.
Also, full thoughts.
- Game does feel a bit cramped, not gonna lie. Venus especially.
- The skyboxes are gorgeous. Mars in particular are breathtaking.
- Might just be me, but shit seems expensive as hell.
- Wish I could choose which skill to level up when
- Ship to ship combat. PvP. Please.
- Space levels. Also please.
- Dedicated melee weapons would be nice, kind of egregious when I have two knifes and can't stab a guy.
- Scars would be a nice addition to character creator
- Good gun feel, especially on the Pulse Rifle.
- Be nice if I could get a Sparrow with some guns.
- Multiplayer really needs a lot more modes. CtF, Griffball, Zombie, that kind of thing.
- I love my Titan just supering into a control point to save/take it and wiping out a poor thing doing their best.
- Please stop trying to out punch a Titan. It just doesn't work.
So I've been playing this for a couple of hours on the PS4 so far and really like it, but I have what's probably a really dumb question - when I'm out on a mission and I see other players, how do I communicate with them? And can we create a "group" or striketeam or whatever it's called?
If you come across a person in the wild or in the Tower, you can either look at them and click in the stick, then press start to invite them OR you can pause and go the leftmost screen and look at the in-game player list on the right.
Ya Venus seemed really easy and quick. That first one didn't seem like much and the second wasn't bad until the adds started really coming in and boss tp shenanigans.

There's a Strike playlist unlocked at 18. There's level 18, 20, and 22 lists. It matches you with randoms but you can also go in with 3.
