Had 6 randoms at the Cave of Wonders. The funny part is, you can go a long time without shooting anything in those situations. They do most of the killing while I just dance and the cave still over flows with drops. Craziness. I now have purple boots... For warlock. (I'm a Titan)
Edit: this was actually pretty fun, mind you. The public events pop every 30 minutes and then the occasional hive VS fallen mega battle erupts which breaks the grind and adds variety. I was enjoying myself quite a bit.

I don't know why it took me so long to realize this, but the scout rifle is so much better for me than the hand cannon in PvE.
In Mass Effect, I was exactly the kind of ten-miles-away Mako sniper that they added all the little popup turrets and stuff to the Batarian DLC to force into "more honorable" combat; I should have realized that most of my hand cannon "misses" were just shots taken from outside the weapon's effective range.

I accidentally accepted the one for thorn, I had the choice of thorn, the fusion rifle or the shotgun (i found this out afterwards while looking up the bounties). I would have chosen the shotty
I may try some of these farming techniques... if only to dismantle all the greens for weapon parts. :P

I chose them by which sounded the most interesting not knowing they had different set rewards. Unfortunately, I chose the one for the fusion rifle (which I don't care for) unknowingly passing on one for a hand cannon which is my favorite weapon. That pretty much killed my interest in playing for the rest of the night.
Also, thanks @Billyidle and @JusticeforPluto for dragging my sorry butt through a few skirmish matches before your raid. Despite being pretty terrible at it I still had lot of fun.
After getting nothing from farming I go turn in my bounty and got smacked with my legendary bounty. Tomorrow I will be LFG for the weekly strike. Need to got up to to the Xur part before Saturday so I don't have to wait a whole week.

Not only did I get an exotic sniper rifle tonight, but also a legendary hand cannon. On top of that we made pretty decent progress on the last boss in VoG. Pretty good night if I must say so myself. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Gotta say: the Vault of Glass is the best, and it shows what's going to be so good about endgame. Difficult as hell, yes, but we've had a blast pushing and pushing against it. No one could explain what was so different about it without spoiling it, and now I see why. It's like a different - or the same, but much more mechanically complex - game.
So the thorn doesn't bypass shields when you've got the armor piercing bleed, but the bleed does apply in crucible. Which has lead to more kills than usual for me when using it.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
Was playing in Skirmish with Boberts against a full team and after his first death the random dropped out of our game and we manage to lose 5000 to about 3300 or so. The next game we add Booker to our team and the enemy team has a guy drop and we win the game 5000-510. I know they were a man down, but after the struggle of going through that ourselves it felt good to wreck people.
Mad thanks to @Iron Weasel and EvilMonkey (?) for helping me down Phogoth for the weekly and so now I am only 4k glimmer away from Invective!
Tonight was an extremely productive night. First legendaries in boots, then bought NM legendary chest, then got purple gloves from a blue engram farmed from the cave. I have enough motes and coins for anything that Xur sells this weekend.
With luck ill have two exotics plus all purple armor by Friday. Again super thanks to Tanith and Munqey. Literally could nog have done it without you guys!

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
So, anyone want to do the level 26 weekly heroic or if your around 26-28 the nightfall strike?

I was doing some Tiger Strikes with Al_wat and Doranth tonight, and my luck at the Cryptarch finally turned around! I had a blue and what was my 9th attempt at a purple engram come out as my two pieces of missing kit, so I'm now in full Legendary armor and Light Level 26. So from now on all my marks can happily go toward the weapons I would like to use, as opposed to the Auto Rifles and Sniper Rifles the game provides me.
I'd like to get in the habit of doing the Daily Heroic @ L28 for the extra materials, so if you see me on and alone feel free to invite me: PSN Qwertster.

Update...just got the message on the XOne stating "Pardon Our Dust". Server maintenance. Couldn't play last night cause I had to get up early for a drug test for a new job and now I can't play tonight to make up lost time to try for 100 crucible medals. Just can't win game wise it seems.
