The deck was very well balanced, with reasonable early game, respectable mid game, and a very strong late game and an assortment of finishers.
Shadowflame was probably mvp as it swung or locked pretty much every game in which it was played. Runner up was voidcaller who found targets at least half of the time. Sylvanas barely saw the board and the deathrattle was only used once (stole a healing totem).
Only one hunter opponent and I beat him soundly. The deck barely had any spells but the hellfire and shadowflame were very significant.
Rewards were 240 gold, 2 packs and golden mark of nature.
How did Voidcaller play? I always get it in arena and am so reluctant to pick it up, since you're so unlikely to have many demons in your hand. I'm also not always sure what to do when facing it, whether it means my opponent has a Doomguard in hand, or whether they just got trapped into a crappy pick.

Voidcaller was a champ, he had targets a lot of the time. And even if he didn't you can just play him really confidently knowing the opponent has to play around him like hell or just use a silence.

Snake Trap isn't bad, actually, it's basically Unleash the Hounds. Farsight is dust.
Anyone watching the WCA Hearthstone tournament in China? 190k prize pool for 64? invitees. Kripp + players cast.
I've only caught an hour of it so far and it has been rather interesting because of how the decks on the Chinese side differ. Other than that, the production is pretty bad compared to western standards.
The other guy who was casting with Kripp when I was watching was just awful. So instead I turned on another streamer, who was playing a weird ramp druid deck with 2 starfalls instead of swipes, 2 doomsayers, and every single taunt card. It didn't seem to be working too well for him, but I do like the idea of doomsayers.
voidcaller seems like a quick trip to valuetown, assuming you can hold a demon in your hand for it to snag
like a lot of cards it's less useful in constructed because people will be more prepared to silence or play around it, but there's nothing better than drawing a doomguard and having one on the board that you can suicide into something
hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
To be fair, he had drawn a lot of his deck at that point, and he probably figured he had a better chance of drawing lethal than he did of surviving another turn. He still had 2 Soulfires AND Leeroy as outs.
He also played the match really well, going around secrets, and so on and so on. I think he actually went through every secret in HunterMing's deck.
meh, group stage in WCA looks like a crap shoot anyways with the best of 3, blind pick format. It is only fun to look for weird decks on the chinese side at this point :ellipses:

I just had the most wonderful victory against Handlock... which is to say I beat a handlock ever.
After getting through Alextraza, two twilight drakes, a 7/8 voidterror I had a Shadowpriest Deathlord and Dark cultist out. He drops a mountain giant and uses shadowflame to clear my side, and get another mountain giant. He drops 2 molten giants to seal the victory.
He has 8 life left, I have ten mana and two holy novas.
He sends off well played after I cast both.
Oh wait, I also have a soulfire...
Well played indeed!
Whew, just had a hell of a close Arena game in Priest mirror for my win to 8-2. I was into fatigue and rode the razor's edge, on the last turn I took -3 fatigue down to 1 hp and had lethal on the board. I even had to play an Abomination as it was my last taunt minion and I couldn't waste my minion's damage on killing his minion.
Oh Arena Draft, why do you torment me so? Second set of picks for priest it offers me up Harvest Golem, Circle of Healing or Zombie Chow. Such minions, much value, many picks
Edit: Thinking of taking the Chow on the basis that there's several decent 3 drops but not many decent 1 drops
Took the Chow, got a Harvest Golem later anyway. Currently 3-0 on this draft; the curve is nicer than I've had in a while but there's definitely some tier 2 minions in here (mostly at the high end. I wish I had some Temple Enforcers, love those in Arena.)

Had a very satisfying game two nights ago when questing. Play 20 minions 2 or less and kill 40 enemy minions was up, so I decided to try my luck with a Priest Undertaker deck. First match: A Priest obviously out to troll! For all of my deathrattles he seemed to have silences, so after about Turn 4 he definitely had the game in his pocket. The whole time he is spamming messages and waiting until the last second to play cards. He even stopped attacking me so he could waste my time more.
But then he made the wrong move around Turn 10. He played two Clerics and two Loot Horders. I had two Circle of Healing and a few weenies out so I just hit his clerics and horders before throwing the Circle of Healing. Suffice to say he started drawing a lot of cards and runs out before he realizes what he's done! Even with all of his minions out he can't catch up to the damage done every time he draws cards. Another Circle of Healing and a few pocket heals and the game is over.

Beating people who are BMing you is really the best feeling.
edit: Incidentally, this is why you never ever double Northshire against another Priest.

Ah to have holy nova and circle of healing.
I needed to do a hunter/druid 5 win daily on the first of the month and felt my constructed deck wasn't cutting it so I decided to just make an asshole deck and try it out.
2/3 of the deck is all the secrets I have and all the removal/attack spells (hunter's mark, dual shot). The rest is that 1/1 hunter spider and the mad scientist. For my last cards big guys only, sea giant, molten giant, KT and a couple of others.
I kept winning ranked matches for god knows what reason. I never once played a big guy, the matches would simply be annoy with secrets, prevent any minion from staying on the board. Use hero power constantly and finish with Kill Order or Gladiator's Longbow.

if anyone is looking to climb ladder hard, the current popular shaman deck (not the bot one) is really so versatile and good against everything. I know handlock is also fantastic but I wanted to mention it. I'm win streaking all over the place. gonna try and reach single digits tonight, most likely I won't but I wanna say it so I can't just not play hehe.
Next two games are vs Mages, and are losses. I'm really, exhaustingly tired of Mages in Arena. It's like, just draft every spell you're offered and you win! First mage had two flamestrikes and two frostbolts and pyroblast; second had a flamestrike, three frostbolts, two arcane missiles and a pyroblast. It's impossible to build a board against them, and they don't even need to worry about protecting big minions, they can just run you down with 3 and 4 drops you can never contest against.
And then a Warlock at 6-2, which seems ok except he soulfired 4 times over 2 turns and never discarded (obviously) any of his soulfires. Ouch.
Edit: You know what, though? It's all good. I had a 9-3 run today and this 6-3, and that's alright in my book. Even got a golden Power Overwhelming for my murlock deck. Oh, and this happened during the Priest run;
I can't hardly think of a better situation for Shadow Madness than that. He thought he was SOOOO clever hiding that Ogre behind that Creeper.

Hey at least we don't turn your shit into sheep or frogs.
Shadow Madness is infinitely worse than being Polymorphed or being Hexed. Look at that screenshot; I spent four mana for one card that cleared eleven mana worth of minions (and 18 total stats) across two cards. Sure that's a best case scenario but how fucking backbreaking is that? You expect to see poly/hex; you never see the Madness coming.

it's a bit of a frankenstein using this as the base http://www.gosugamers.net/hearthstone/features/3667-going-legend-on-a-budget-the-aggro-warrior-guide but I have the goul instead of beserker, and no mortal strike which would definitely be a good finisher.

9 wins is really good for me. I'm terrible at this game.
I think all those trump videos I've been watching have helped.
Also the three ironbark protectors I drafted helped.
