I wonder why it is I can't get anything higher than rank 11. I usually have no problems going from 20 to 13-14, but then it's a struggle to get to 12. Once there, I never seem to pull any further or get any streaks.
I'd like to blame not having certain cards to run decks, but there are enough free-to-play examples of people getting to legend without them. That obviously points the finger directly at me and my decisions.
You aren't playing enough games would be my guess, or bad luck.
Yeah at a certain point it's just about time. For me rank 12 or 11 is where I've broken every season just from playing casually and I haven't broken 100 wins on a single class
You're scrolled to the bottom of the list, and there is a visible edge of button showing on the top of the scrolling deck area. See if you can scroll it that way?
Feign Death is kinda nuts. From the official Hearthstone website:
Feign Death will trigger all existing Deathrattles on your minions as if the minion died, without the glaring drawback of actually dying. Have a Nerubian Egg in play? Now you have a Nerubian Egg AND a Nerubian! Have Sneed’s Old Shredder in play? Now you have a Sneed’s Old Shredder and a random Legendary minion! The combinations are endless, and only get more interesting with Baron Rivendare in play . . . combined with Feign Death, your minions trigger their Deathrattles twice!
Important to note it doesn't actually KILL your minions; just causes the Deathrattle to trigger. Seems like a better Reincarnate.

It seems almost strictly better, except to remove buffs from opponent's minions and debuffs from your own.

Ah cool, thanks!
Feign Death is a Hunter Card.
GREAT. HUNTER JUST NEEDED MORE HELP WITH HIS EXISTING AGGRO DEATH RATTLE UNDERTAKER DECK.
By triggering the Deathrattle, does it get removed or can you play two feign death in the same turn? Should the card only cost 2 mana?
Hunter with Sylvanas is gonna be fun or Hyenas everywhere.
It would appear that you can play two feign deaths in the same turn, as nothing says that the minions lose their deathrattle keyword. The card seems pretty bananas, though I don't know if it'd fit into undertaker hunter. Do you have 2 mana and a card free to trigger death rattles? Wouldn't you rather play another deathrattle and power up undertaker, or steady shot face?
I'd really like to see a midrange or control hunter deck using this card, though.
I'm kinda gutted that Lil' Exorcist isn't a neutral card.
Have some free guts back, because Lil' Exorcist IS a neutral card. What's painful is that the Scarlet Purifier is Paladin only. Well, I guess Paladin deserves to have some good cards.

Man, shit is going to get so real with these new cards. And I've been so comfortable with the current meta.

I cap out around 3-4 every season personally. Before the most recent Hunter nerf I got up to 2 with it. I think everyone just runs into walls eventually with regards to decision making.
With that said, Zoo and Huntertaker are far away the strongest decks on ladder. If you want to win, I really suggest playing those.
Zoo is favored versus everything but Hunter, and Hunter is favored against everything but Priest and Warrior (and even then just barely).

It's a scary card but not yet for a specific reason. The death rattles we see from hunter is the current meta aren't worth running the card for... Besides the highmane there's just not a lot of value.
However it's not the first time we've noted a new card would be cool in a slower hunter deck.

the only reason control hunter isn't played is undertaker hunter beats it
control hunter was very good for a decent amount of time and could easily pop back up with a meta shift

Scarlet Purifier isn't even that good, though. Its an ok anti-deathrattle Hunter card and its interesting in that it gives Paladin a reason to try Nerubian Eggs out, but 4/3's for three will never be relevant so long as Zoo is a popular thing. Really wish Paladin would have gotten an all star three drop like Priest did rather than all these competing three drops that I suspect won't be quite good enough to push Paladin into ladder relevancy...

I mean, a 4/3 for 3 isn't anything to sneeze at. Sure, it dies to a two drop, but there's only two 3/4s in the entire game, it's still straight up better than a 3/3, and it has a really useful ability.
Well, just lost an arena game to Bluegill > Sergeant > PO > PO > PO > PO > Soulfire. It felt like oldschool Leeroy.
I was hoping you just had the hickups. Reality was much, much worse. My condolences...

a 4/3 would be better if there were more 3/4s in the game
the ubiquity of good 3/2s is what makes 3/4 bad
also purifier looks weak, it should silence them as well as doing the damage

I mean, you're getting a free consecrate on turn 3 against deathrattle decks while also putting a 4/3 on the board (and even activating your own eggs). That seems pretty good.
but like, if you're complaining about things with three health, that's like all of the three drops out of the window. Are you really just going to run farseers and harvest golems and that's it?
A 4/3 just isn't a good statline in Hearthstone. It's too small to handle two drops (and will often trade with one drops or spider tokens in Zoo thanks to things like Dark Iron Dwarf) and not big enough to threaten common four and five drops. The ability is useful against current Deathrattle Hunter, but only if they don't have Undertaker out.
Trust me, I've played enough of Kirin Tor Mage to know that a 3 mana 4/3 is NOT impressive in the least. The most interesting thing about it is using it to pop your own Nerubian Egg, but I'm not sure if that's really enough to save it.
4/3 for 3 is like amazing stats. It trades with dancing swords which is a 4/4 for 3 with a massive drawback.
The vanilla test for a 3 drop is 3/3. 4/3 is just gravy, with an ability. How is this card bad? 100% would draft in arena over almost any other 3 drop.

like seriously you guys, this
you're saying a 4/3 is bad when literally every other three drop is statistically worse than it
Other than harvest golem and spidertank and sort of blademaster (but not really), obviously
edit: and dancing swords, deathlord, and mukla, but they have downsides to compensate
A vanilla 3/3 for 3 isn't good either, which is why the only ones that get played do much more powerful things than offer up a body. Stuff like SI Agent, Harvest Golem, Dark Cultist, etc are the ones that can actively help you win back board position early on. Scarlet Purifier only passes this test part of the time, which is the problem. Anytime his ability is dead, he's very underwhelming.

I would guess early or late. Would be silly to launch an expansion in the middle of a new season, but hey, Blizzard.

I like the paladin one, it's good for board control in the early game against hunter, although it does nothing about undertaker itself.
