I wait a little while longer and the doctor comes in looks at my eye and says "doesn't need stitches but it will leave a scar. Not that it will hurt your looks much. Ha!"

I did not feel better, and now my hand really hurts.
As someone with anger issues, it really doesn't make you feel better. Also you want to avoid punching where the wall studs are. That tends to increase the odds of hurting yourself. And if you play Major League Baseball as a pitcher, don't punch the concrete wall of the dugout with your pitching hand.

One time I was hammered and frustrated and I punched a hole in my friend's wall. It was so easy to put my hand through it. I remember immediately after, I looked at a couple of my friends, and we all did that "Oh ho ho, that's not good... Hahahaha" thing and in my stupor I thought to myself
"If one punch did that, if I just kept punching I could bring the whole fucker down..."
but then instead I went and drank some more, which was probably for the best.
