So no real news there, it's what was expected and not enough of a hit to really care much about it, just a love tap to tone NIN down a little and bring them more in line.

Well, I guess that tears it. I'm gonna have to finish my atmas on my bow and go through all the other crap because this actually looks kind of cool. I haven't even seen what the bow looks like or is called, but this quest I can get behind.

If they're around ilevel 70ish it might be a cheap way to finish off my Carpenter desynth, I don't know if they give skillups like the vendor bridal stuff did.
Interesting quick observation:
The Full Thrust combo chain is 150 + 200 + 360 potency for a total of 710 potency
The Chaos Thrust combo is 180 + 220 + 250 (Flank) for 650 potency and a 35 potency DoT. The combo chain is ~7.5s long so you'll get 2 ticks on the DoT so +70 potency and so 720 potency. (Side note: The full DoT duration brings the Chaos Thrust chain to be worth 965 potency. One DoT tick will pretty much always be clipped due to how periodic effects work)
Basically, if you've totally lost track on what you're doing and have screwed up things badly, Chaos Thrust combo would come out ahead even if you clip the DoT. Refreshing Chaos Thrust if you're going to lose contact time seems like a good thing to do off gut instinct if you will gain at least 2 ticks, but I'll leave it to the DRG professionals to crunch those numbers.
Also, assuming the 10% resistance debuff equates to a 10% damage increase, it may be worth using Chaos Thrust on a non-debuffed mob that's about to die so long as you get that one DoT tick off. You're out ahead on potency for the first two hits and the third hit redeems itself via the debuff plus one DoT tick. So in general, If in doubt, Chaos Thrust*

After a day of work, I've gotten 10/16 of the dungeon items and I have all the HQ crafted items, bombard cores, and 100k gil purchased items needed. The only thing I'm short is about 3600 soldiery to get the last three Sacred Waters I need. I may have had some crazy luck with the RNG, but so far, it hasn't been that bad for me.
Tomorrow morning I plan on busting out the last 2 dungeons I have available to me, grinding out 400 more soldiery, and then opening the dungeon line for the last quest I need. If anyone has noob bonuses they want to get rid of, let me know.
