Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
BTW: you know what's really lame? Deaths after a match end count against your "Iron Wrath" bounty. So if you get some poor sport that loses and is all "hurf hurf let's keep fighting" and stuff you lose your 8 kills streakand have to start all over. thanks, asshat.
Not at all good enough consolation: Your kills during that period count for the bounty, too.
Usually, if I see someone during the end game, I'll fight them. Most of the time it's because I have a specific bounty to finish. I don't do it maliciously, but it does suck for people with killstreak bounties. I think that's the first one I've seen that carries over between games, though.
If the game ends and you're in the middle of a fight or something, yeah I can understand. But rolling up on a guy from behind that's sitting down after the match is just lame, imo.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”

It was shortly after reaching rank 2. I also did well in the match, so I can't really narrow down the trigger for the drop, if there is one.
I was rewarded Timur's Lash, the hand cannon. It looks cool and it has the highest impact I've seen on this class.
I also got the Strength of the Pack cloak from the speaker, since it looks nice and I had tons of motes anyway. It'll go well with any Iron Banner armor I can manage to get, too.

Sorry about what happened to your bounty but not gonna lie... I actually love that tiny detail of Crucible. The match timer doesn't instantly end any fight I was in and getting the drop on sillies who put their controller down early is a free kill I'll take any day. Kinda feels like tackling after the play in NFL Blitz (aka, the best). My advice is to continue playing Crucible for 100% of the time you're in there, you can get more out of your Bounties during that time!

There was this one dude in a match I played who I could not kill. We had the same weapon, fully upgraded, and the same level, but he would always kill me in straight up fights. Prety sure he had a better connection to the host, but whatever..
I found him dancing during the epilogue and promptly headshot him for a Bullseye medal.
So me and friends would do this on dust palace. Shoot the bosses feet with missle launchers, knock them over the edge, then you dont have to fight bullet sponges for 15 minutes. Too bad the final raid boss can't be knocked around the same way. oh wait warlocks super:
Note to raid groups: don't use aoe grenades on this boss, because it just casues him to move around and out of LoS. Except for the few seconds for the home team can throw down 3-4 of them before he starts moving again and you have the buff, it really racks up some damage if you do it right (titan cone aoe nade can get rolling with 3-4 for 40k a sec)

Some of my favorite moments are punching someone to death right before the end screen comes up
Ya I saw this. Was pretty surprised to see it. Wonder if somebody just forgot to flip a switch, or if something went wrong. From my understanding it was working in the Alpha/Beta as intended, and now it's the same.

Got to help Gabe through the weekly. Shot the shit while shooting some kneecaps. I offered to help him through his first raid when he hit 27 with some other forum folk and he seemed excited by that idea.
He then told me that for one of his wedding anniversaries the PA folks on the forums arranged a Molten Core raid in WoW for them back when it was a huge monumental affair.
Beat the Nightfall and the Weekly with the cheesy hiding spot extreme courage and skill. SO MANY STRANGE COINS. Wonder what Xur is offering this week.
Protip: a full level bar filled pair of Legendary boots provides 3 shards when destroyed.
Yea I don't think the level/un-levelness of your item matters in regards to how many mats you get, despite what I've seen people here saying. Maybe I just have real good or bad luck, but I have always got 2 or 3 shards from every piece I've taken apart regardless of if it was leveled or not.
Secrets, lies, and tragedy. The trifecta.

Meh, not my style, I usually ignore it but that one actually took me from one more match to wrap up what I'm doing at nightcap to... what would be several bad matches later now, including a few streaks lost due to not tracking ammo or what weapon I'm using... fatigue ftw. Not to mention preforms. :P
IDK, will have to work it out later today I guess. Don't like my progress on the headshot spree bounty either. gotta pay more attention and wrap that up as well...

It definitely matters on lower level gear. A blue item unleveled will give you two crafting items, a fully bar filled one is four or five. Somebody with no patience for leveling should destroy some fresh off the shelf purple boots and tell us what they get.

I do it all the time, either Vanguard shit that I buy for mats or random drops (rarely). I get 2 or 3 shards per (completely unleveled) item.

OMFG are you serious. Spend a lot of time soloing my way through the fucking nightfall. Get to the end and get 2 people in game. We clear everything. I say don't start anything until we figure out where we need to be. Someone starts it, we wipe in 5 seconds. Thanks for wasting an hour of my time. That's what I get for being helpful. Fuck.

Dude, we hopped over to try and HELP you. We could have very easily, and apparently correctly, kept playing Iron Banner with the party we were all in. Yes, someone started the boss too soon. It happens. I'd of run it with you again to get you through. All of us have run many, many things together. For you to rage quit, then come back, join party with the xbone crew again, and literally shout in party chat until rage quitting again? I understand your frustration, but man. That's how it goes sometimes.
As I said in party chat, I'm 30 years old. I'm happily married. I have a two year old son. I'm over arguing about video games. If you want a broken beer bottle and my address, let me know and they are yours. Short of that, its a game. I'm still more than happy to run anything with you any time, considering our history of running things together without issue. But you seriously need to focus on anger management.
Like, no joke. If this means we don't run things anymore, ok. But man, disproportionate.
Seriously.

Tonight was some fairly productive Destiny-ing
Thanks to @H0b0man and @Litany for help clearing the Nightfall and Weekly Strikes, Destiny seems to want my first alt to be a Hunter because I got the Achlyophage Symbiote from the Nightfall.
And then @skyknyt and @Khildith helped me clear out Xyor the Unwed, which was a real party, so I finished off my Thorn bounty.
I was able to do the weekly without cheese, but I don't think the nightfall will happen solo. I don't think I'm patient enough. Tomorrow I'll be up for giving it a try on Xbone. Ooh! I almost forgot. Doing a weekly event was the last tough bit of my Invective bounty. Now I've got one! Now to try for a primary exotic.
Now I know what this thread's topic title means with "Enrage timers"! How much time does it take me to enrage in Iron Banner!
I've seen someone demonstrate how to win at Iron Banner:
- first, if your team is 1000 points behind: quit
- rejoin
- keep doing it until you are in a team that is winning
- profit!
Really, I had one match, were it was once again 5 versus 6, and number 6 joined (hurrah!)
A bit later we were 5 again, and a few minutes later, who was on the opposing team? The same guy :bigfrown:
So yes, Iron Banner really is a test of "how many times can you accept to lose before quitting"... I can take 3 losses in a row but then I have to do something else...
Hopefully they'll manage to "iron" out the kinks when Iron Banner reappears, because I do not like to moan as hard as this...
(Carl hopes that we get that 10K XP and melee bounty again, because those are the only ones I can actually finish)

The 10 k XP was a good bounty because you were invented to keep playing even if losing.
I had some good times rolling withsome if you guys in Iron Barbara tonight. Picked up the Lash, though something about the shape looks wrong to me; the barrel looks too low on the gun's front. I also learned that I can't aim for crap with it. Good times regardless!

Yeah, I have no chance of getting enough wins to reach rank 3 and get the gloves I want before next Tuesday, so Iron Banner is pretty much a waste of time for me now.
Which sucks because those gloves looked so cool. The stats are the same as what I have but it looks so much better

It's pretty whack that I have 200 crucible marks but no way to spend them
You're capped out, BTW. You don't earn any more marks until you have less than 200 again.
Spend them on armor or weapons to break down for ascendant materials (after pouring XP into them), if you don't want a new rocket bike or snazzy emblems from your faction of choice.

I don't have the rank to spend them on anything, which is why it is stupid.

As much as I'm digging Iron Banner, it's really a full team or bust game mode. When half of your rando team leaves it is pretty pointless to keep going.
Also what the hell pulse rifle?!? Why are you better in regular crucible?
Really hope they roll out the weapon tweaks soon.
A lot of the weapon performances are all different in Iron Banner. Not sure exactly why, but I've noticed that fusion rifles and hand cannons are improved over regular crucible.

I'm pretty sure you have to earn a "Relentless" badge to complete that bounty.
You don't. I know because I've won the bounty before.
edit: specifically with 9 kills one game with the first in the next being the 10th.
And it's very nice to see that that gun has a radically different model instead of a different paint job.
