So, each outfit actually has multiple versions you can cycle through with square. They can vary a fair bit, theres a suit and tie type of the basic prisoner garb.
The variations on the male version of the winter outfit kind of suck though. The other variations are nice so far. The lady version of the winter outfit has a hilarious fuzzy hood on it.
We've been talking about it for a few pages, so I know it makes sense, but official threads always get so technical eventually. My play style (in any game) is basically just throwin' things together , and giving the good (yet mysterious) results dumb nicknames.
..............which isn't very effecient, for any game, in both discussion and practice, but EH. (It's because of this that I can't join in very many Tales of threads very much. "Spinny attack that gets me behind enemies" is generally not an accepted move name. )
Speaking of, Tales of Hearts next week! Woo! Though... I haven't even started Xillia 2 yet, so it might be a while before I even get to it...

So Higurashi When They Cry is coming out for PS3 and Vita in Japan. Hope it comes to the US soon.
I kiiiinda doubt we will, but you never know. We have the PC versions out over here already though, and a Steam re-release with new sprites coming out... eventually. So I don't really desire the Vita/PS3 version myself.

I have it on the PC, bought it at the comic con in June but I would definitely rather play it on a handheld. Playing a VN on the PC feels weird for me after playing Corpse Party on my Vita.

I love VNs on Vita. I mentioned the Ebikore + Amagami import a couple days ago (which finally arrived yesterday, while I was out all night) and am looking forward to that for a number of reasons, but some more localized VN love would be great.

Store is updated on my Vita, go get Binding of Isaac now.
However don't bother if you have a PS TV, because it's not compatible. *sigh*
What's really fucking annoying is you can buy something off the web store, either download the game via the TV's download list or use the queuing system to do it for you automatically, and it'll happily download and install. At no point during this process does it have the smarts or decency to notice "Oy, you probably shouldn't do this, you're just wasting megabytes". The only way to be dead sure of a game is to see if it's on the TV's store directly.
Out of the 5 potential Vita games that are up, only 2 are compatible with the TV: Steamworld and Luftrausers.

I understand the feeling. I play/read a decent amount of Visual novels and I play 90% of them on my iPad through Splashtop, streaming from my PC. The only ones I don't are the ones with gameplay/battle mechanics, which I normally output to my TV and play with a PS4 controller.
Anyway, the original RCR was the beginning of the indies-on-consoles wave, and I'm interested to see if DX holds up or wins me over. Because if there's anything I need, it's more games to play...
Oddly I'm right in the middle. I thought some of the missions were inconsistently difficult such that each thing to do would either feel like a cake walk or a retry grind, and I enjoyed some of the references and silliness but it wasn't enough to keep me engaged, only getting a mere "haha, yeah, the 80s in video games, man" chuckle.
None of it was bad, really, it just never clicked. I definitely like the general premise behind it all though.

So, Home is a neat little story-based game. It's not heavy on the horror or anything but it's a good game to go into with the horror mindset. I really liked how it did some of the decision-based stuff. It's just an hour or so to beat, so don't expect anything earthshattering, but I liked it.

Followed by the inevitable wave of indies: Super Meat Picross, Hotline Picross, the Binding of Picross, Picrossia, Don't Picross, Picross of the Endless, and of course, Minecraft (you can just build your own Picross!).

There's actually a decent-ish picross/nonogram game in the Mobile section of the store on Vita.

Probably gonna get a Vita on Black Friday if I find a good deal. I know I'll eventually need a bigger memory card, but about how large are the games? Any chance the 8g pack-in card will be big enough for both P4G and Freedom Wars?
