Town of Salem is an in-browser Mafia game complete with graphics and multiple mode! It works on the basis of usual mafia stuff. The village is around, everyone votes on who to lynch, people have roles, and you TRY TO WIN.
It's still in beta but it is very very fun
Games take like ten to fifteen minutes tops which is awesome
you can even customize your little guy if you want to!
I am JustBlais on there if you want to add me, sometimes the game does weird things with invites but you can DEFINITELY group up with people and join games as a whole if you wanna have some fun with your friends! It has a really good system for anonymizing who's who (ok it's not really a system you just set a name at the beginning of each game and nobody knows who has what name)

A couple of the developers are currently doing a live stream on Twitch to get last day donations for their kickstarter.
They're supposed to do some giveaways but all they have done so far is watch their server crash.

The first night my Mafioso died and then my Framer left the game.
So, that was something.
You do get bad luck, but it is really fun

I actually did pretty well, considering.
I lasted until there were 4 people left. Two townsfolk, me and a serial killer.
this has been my experience with the majority of my online mafia games, whether hanging out on epicmafia or doing something like starcraft 2 custom games
can't trust the pubbies to stick around
Sometimes you get unlucky and it makes roles like medium suck but more often than not its fun, and the deception of pubbies owns
people keep dying to them but they aren't a listed role
are they a veteran and ALSO something else?
So maybe the Veteran is listed as one of those.
Random Town means there's an extra townie who could be any town role
The scariest is Any, because you have to be prepared for the possibility that they could be anything
It's fun as long as people aren't complete idiots.
With some dumb luck I also managed kill the Godfather with my Jester haunt and all of the dead townsfolk were very happy.
I actually like Any All the most. It lets you play roles that you otherwise might not see. I have been playing for a couple of weeks now and have still never been an Arsonist or Mayor.
I bought the Splat! death animation today. I'm happy with it. :-)
also they added the apocalypse theme pack, and some new death animations
I had one really great moment while playing the Godfather.
My mafioso had been hanged, my Framer had been shot by a Veteran and there were just three people left: Me, a Medium, and that Veteran.
The noose was around my neck and I was pleading with the Medium to believe that I was the Veteran. It was me who shot that Framer two nights ago. The other guy is the Godfather, he didn't even remember the name or role of the person he had shot. For godsakes, get me down from here. I have one alert left, I'm the Veteran. We will lose if you hang me.
The Medium, completely confused but convinced, voted me innocent. I get down from the gallows and we vote up the Veteran, who roars and cusses and slurs until the tightening of the rope interrupts him. Whenever the chat lets me, I'm consoling the Medium, telling them that they did the right thing.
That Medium was so god damn mad when the day ended and the two of us returned to our houses.
