The fact that this list uses Sylvan Caryatid instead of Rattleclaw Mystic strikes me. Remember saying that argument on my LGS's Facebook group back on the spoilers and the answer was: "I know, but Goldfish :bigfrown: ".
Also, despite UB Control simply not having any way to get extra gas (it could use Cruise instead of Dig IMO), Disdainful Stroke is the real deal in a meta as slow as this one. And while Stubborn Denial and Temur Charm have to be on a shell like this one (aka a Midrange deck) to work, they are good cards.
Me and my brother have been lucky with the foil fetch lands, with four boxes split between us we nabbed a foil strand, delta, and heath as well as play sets of each fetch with 5-6 extras.
The card we pulled most was butcher of the horde, like 12+ copies before I started tossing them in with the commons.
Going to try the b/w midrange deck that won a starcity qualifier for gameday. It looks so durdly and fun with wingmate roc, high sentinels, and main board sheep backed up by sorin.

i got a wingmate roc and a foil dig in my prerelease pool, another roc from prize packs from prerelease, and another dig from prize packs this last friday
the gf has the most ridiculous luck. we walked by the card section at wal-mart and she grabbed a single pack. on the way home we were talking about magic and i go, 'oh man, if you're playing black and white we should get you a sorin'. get home, she opens her pack and goes, 'oh this guy? he seems okay'
she bought 3 packs the other day and is going through them and i ask what the rares are, she goes 'ugh, these really shitty lands and another wingmate roc for my deck'
I should note I hate speculation when it inflates standard prices to a ridiculous degree. Grabbing up shocklands just before/just after rotation because they will rise in value is cool, because eternal formats aren't really meant for new players to break into. The prices for eternal formats is still a problem though, but that is WOTC waiting too long to crank out reprints in a meaningful amount.

Yeah, I've cracked maybe 20 prize packs so far and have opened a Siege Rhino and a Pearl Lake Ancient.
