UK Wii out of stock, go to glastonbury for free instead!
Thanks to a rise in the number of Wii consoles shipped out to retailers, the Easter holidays have seen Nintendo's next-gen console achieve one of its highest selling weeks since launch, pushing over 25,000 units last week in the U.K. alone. According to a report on GamesIndustry.biz, a Nintendo spokesperson recently told the site that last week was the Wii's third biggest sales week for the U.K. region, and that "Everything we are shipping, we are selling."

Man, that is hilarious...
When Sony says they've sold X consoles, they really mean they've shipped them.
When Nintendo says they've shipped X consoles, they really mean they've sold them.
I for one would like to see comparative sales rates for the Wii and for Glastonbury tickets.

Why not? I'll bite.
They're both legit and extant, right?
Though perhaps this should be in the bargains thread...
@Hazz: Glastonbury recently broke it's own world record for the fastest selling tickets to a public event again. Despite a concerted effort to slow down sales on the part of the organisers. It would be interesting to see how the Wii compares...
I went to Leeds as a Steward last year, am stewarding Leeds and Glasto this yeah, and applying to campaign at V this year. The best thing about it is that everyone on your camp is so nice and friendly (everyone you camp with is an Oxfam volunteer), there's a great atmosphere.
