So a friend of mine has recently been helping his mother move out of her house and has been digging around in her attic sorting crap out and generally clearing up. While doing so, he stumbled across a box with some old photos in it from his grandmother, apparently taken by soldiers during World War II.
One of these photos is of three men strung up by their feet (with some sarcastic caption on about "the three princes" I think) which is apparently
a photo taken of Mussolini post-execution. It's definitely some dead dudes from WWII either way.
I have no idea if there's any way to verify if this is genuinely Mussolini or not, or even if this is particularly rare (there could be shitloads of Mussolini photos out there as far as I know) but it seemed interesting enough to find out if anyone knew. So I guess my question is, is this likely to be real? And if so, it is rare enough to warrant getting in touch with a museum or something?
