Noice, but I kinda feel that could be a little underachieving if we're talking raw time investment? There's such a massive xp dilution at those early levels that it's probably better to just run a few fast easy heists, Ukranian, 4Stores or White Xmas? Any of those should bring you to 20+ straight away, and can be done on ovk. Xmas excepted but I think that has such a large payday compared to the other 1dayers anyway.
Not to shit on your parade here, just saying. Otoh it's good to start farming the offshore straight away for the next infamy level, you'll be ready for it in a day or two.
Jewelry Store Deathwish also has a base XP override, so it actually goes above the "max" experience from its jc value. The only thing that will give you more experience at level 0 is the train heist since it's unaffected by the experience reduction cap. Rats Pro Deathwish will also give you almost as much experience as Jewelry Store, but I'm not sure that's one I want to try at level 0.

JS DW and SR DW will take you to level 50 pretty much straight out of the gate in 30 minutes.
Level Limit cap is a pile of BS is what. "You completed a heist we deemed too difficult for your level! Here's a punishment!" ?!?! Seriously?
I mean I know it's meant to discourage/prevent powerlevelling. Well if they didn't want people to level that quickly MAYBE it was a bad idea to introduce 25 levels of infamy?
Apparently someone did DW Shadow Raid over and over and over until he got to 25-100
This is largely because you can speedrun SR in a couple of minutes with a competent crew; it's like old UK job used to be, except you need to be slightly more competent.
I like doing Hoxton Breakout, to get my cop murderin' fix.
Great rewards and not too difficult to boot.
I'm surprised they haven't nerfed that one because it seems almost like it gives too much experience / money for how hard it is.

Yeah, hox breakout's money payout especially is pretty damn whack for a heist that is about rescuing a friend rather than stealing shit.

My guess is that it's so key to the main "story" of Payday 2 that they want to make sure everyone understands why he was in jail, and the theories as to why he's there.
For just funning around I think Firestarter is probably my favorite mission. Good level/objective variety, not too difficult, plenty for people of varying skill focuses to do.

Hell it was one place where sentries had a use before the ability to carry both them and C4 at the same time was introduced - locking down the two spawn points. Even a mere 10-20 seconds of enemy-free movement can make day 1 a cakewalk!
Speaking of Hoxton Breakout, would anyone be able to help me with Tabula Rasa? Since I don't have a right hand I can't effectively use KBAM controls and have to use a controller, but because of that my aim is not nearly as good as that achievement requires of me. Ordinarily, I'd just ignore the achievement in that case, but I really want to unlock my fifth spec and it's locked behind it.
On my own, I can reliably get to the garage at the end of Day 1 before getting overwhelmed, and in some pugs I've made it to Day 2 before things fall apart, but I'd really just like to get it over with (especially before they add the new automated turret enemy in a few days).
I'm available for the next few hours tonight, and also on Thursday evening/night. Possibly tomorrow night as well, but my connection won't be as good then.
DW Shadow Raid is my lifeblood. It's a time investment sometimes, but it's not that hard as long as you check corners.
(Spoilers for voice file leak from recent patch!)
Apparently the Butcher is going to be sending us back to Shadow Raid to retrieve information off of a server. People are assuming this version will be loud, since the existing version is stealth-only.

If you put them on the very ends of the street cops just won't spawn, or 1 squad will spawn every half minute. Dunno if they fixed that, but that was one way to cheese deathwish.

It is hard when you have Idiots and pug it
How hard is it to stay with the truck and not run off to get cops and others
Actually, if the players all stay ahead of the truck (and just run back to it whenever it needs an objective done) you have far less spawns to deal with. So some players may be running ahead expecting everyone will do that.
No excuse if they're running behind the truck though.
about 3 days in and i'm already at 6-94, teaming with other players at infamy 10 or so
Not really liking the grind but I guess I'll be less serious about it compared to the time I took to get to V-100
Also I think I got the Founding Father's pack with all the old weapons. Too bad I don't think I'll ever get the achievements required to unlock the mods =\
I also tried the new dockyard and train bomb heists. Kinda fun not knowing what to do again.
Yeah, now that I've gotten over my initial reaction of so many more infamy levels, I can see where you guys are coming from.
It'd be nice if each infamy level gave a 1% bonus to damage or something like that.

With any luck Overkill will fix it, though I'm kinda surprised they gave us such an uninspired initial offering to begin with, they have to have known that being able to refill your levels faster wasn't what people wanted out of more Infamy.
:edit: I mean, with the new layout, I don't mind the +10%XP nodes staying sorta filler, but make the mask unlocks also give boosts.

Players can fuck around all they want as long as the group has sufficient head clicking skills (on OK). Even if someone screws up and gets downed by a cloaker out in nowhere a team that can shoot lotsacops fast will deal with it no problem, even if he gets incarcerated.
The problem is when players aren't working together/doing the objectives poorly/get themselves shot up somewhere hard to reach with a team that can't handle lotsacops fast.
Yeah, I'd really like to get Tabula Rasa done before the turret enemy is added.
I have a feeling the turret won't be easy to take down with the weapons you have to use for Tabula Rasa, and Overkill's response will likely be "Deal with it" so I'd like to unlock my fifth spec before it's added.
Unfortunately, as I said earlier I have to use a controller so my aim isn't as good as the next guy (can't reliably get headshots unless they're close up, which is a big problem with Tans and Specials). I usually try to compensate for this with my build or weapons, but can't do that for Tabula Rasa.
I'm available tonight (though where I am today my connection won't be quite as good, should still work though), tomorrow night, and technically any time on Friday before 9pm EST I guess. Not sure what day of the Spring Break event is adding the turret though.
In regards to the new Infamy, at the very least they need to stick something worthwhile in the four corner nodes, as currently you should have all the new masks before getting to those. I'd rather they do something like THIS though.

I'd be up for going for some tabula rasa as well, and for that matter all of the assorted team cooperation achievements that people may be lacking.

Oh yeah, I'm up for any of the other group achievements anyone wants to try for. Though forewarning that I'm not that great on anything that requires going loud on Deathwish.
For the "4 masks" achievements, here's what I've got:
*Reindeer Games: Any heist with all four Santa masks (I have all four)
*Ghost Riders: Any heist with all four difficulty-Skull masks (I have Hard and Very Hard)
*Funding Father: Big Bank with all four Big Bank masks (I have all four)
*Four Monkeys: Overkill Rats with all four Shotgun Pack monkey masks (I have Clint, Rutger and maybe John)
*Unusual Suspects: Overkill Watchdogs with all four Assault masks (I have Professor Wrath and Crow Goblin)
*Sounds of Animals Fighting: Hard Hotline Miami with all four Hotline Miami masks (the masks from the DLC map, not from owning Hotline Miami--I have all four)
*Winds of Change: Overkill Hoxton Breakout with all four Historical masks (I have all but Constable)
*Riders on the Snowstorm: Deathwish White XMas with all four 2014 Xmas Masks (I have all four)
*Honor Among Thieves: Overkill Diamond with all four Diamond masks (I have all four)
On any other group achievement, I have all the DLC so I should be good to go on whatever it requires. Though I may need time to set up a build or weapon mods for certain ones.
Didn't know you guys were missing Tabula Rasa. It's honestly not that hard, I found the toughest part to be NOT running around like a madman as per usual since I was lacking a fair ammount of dodge. And of course no one was able to revive me at range. Got to stick to cover a lot!
I haven't unlocked any of the Shotgun or Assault Rifle masks yet, and only have one Historical mask, and only have Happy Santa, but I've got Hard, Very Hard and Overkill difficulty masks and have all the Big Bank, Hotline Miami and Diamond masks.
So when would people want to try and get together?
I'm available tonight until about midnight EST, but I'm not on my home connection (should be fine for playing, but I probably shouldn't host).
I'll be home tomorrow and could play anytime after 7:30pm EST until...probably 9pm EST the next day. Just let me know in advance so I could plan when to sleep.
Edit: Shotgun DLC gives special shotgun ammo which can do stuff like pierce shields or explode like a grenade. Really helps against specials, but it lowers your max ammo for the gun if you equip one.
Yeah the ammo types are nice. HE rounds absolutely devastate dozers (and anything else, really). I'm also really fond of the Raven for stealth ops, because if the shit hits the fan it is extremely effective while still maintaining a very good concealment rating.

I think I have 2 of the big bank masks for Funding Father
I think I have 2 of the monkey ones
I would have to see what have for unusual suspects
I have the sounds of animals fighting because I got into a great mob that day and the leader was kicking anyone who did not have one of the masks I don't have the Rabbit though
I have all four 2014 Xmas masks but I will check if I have that achievement
I only have one of the masks for the diamond I really want the Anubis one
