Also, Alex is probably never going to post that The Wolf Among Us review, is he? He said it was written already but he was saving it for when it was more relevant, like the current gen releases. That was last week.
Zombies lol and all that, but The Walking Dead isn't Sam & Max. Season 1 of TWD is phenomenal, presents everything with a very serious tone, and succeeds.
It warms my heart that Jeff has such a fondness for Sam and Max. I liked all the Telltale Sam and Max games but I can see why he stopped liking them later on.

It was super frustrating because that was basically the only place anyone was talking about it and they had accepted it as fact that it fell off a cliff after the first episode
Man, I wish I had a video of his live reaction to akira. Maybe just the 'toys come alive scene'. I have a friend who has a similar attitude as Dan, and his reaction before the music could kick in was 'oh my god that would be absolutely terrifying' and it went downhill from there.

If Blizzard wants to put out a free-to-play TF2-style shooter on PS4, I will play that
I get the reverence to Super Mario World in the podcast and everything, because its a fantastic game, but the current team making Mario games really is making the best games in the series. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is so goddamn close to being a perfect game and its amazing that they had so many ideas leftover given the sheer amount of ideas and variety in the first Super Mario Galaxy. I would say its the best platformer 2D or 3D, period. Jeff and Brad in general though don't seem to give most post SNES Nintendo games nearly as much consideration as the games from that era however.
All that said, the proposed Super Mario World review scale is pretty fucking great though.

When Jeff said there's only one game that scores a 1 on that scale, I wanted so hard for Dan to say "Mario Sunshine" or "Majora's Mask" just to hear Jeff's reaction.
Man, I wish Rorie hadn't been the one to do the Dragon Age quick look. After that and the WoW videos, I've come to the conclusion that we like the same style of games, but for very different reasons. Also, that he can spend a ton of time playing a game without figuring out how it works. Really hope Vinny does something with that game since I seem to remember him liking that series.

I definitely agree with this. I like Rorie, he's pretty cool and he does a fantastic job with the community but I'm not a fan of his Quick Look style.
Rorie's fine, and has had legit game demo experience having worked at Obsidian. He seems much more willing to fuck around in these games, and also I figure the game wouldn't get covered if Rorie wasn't covering it.
