    Okay, so they're immortal unless their head gets cut off. Okay. Alright. But, still, couldn't you always just, you'know, shoot a highlander with a gun first, to you know, throw him off balance, and then chop off his head?

    amongst immortals this is considered pretty dirty pool

    and apparently you don't gain as much of their power and knowledge if you kill them like that, and that's like basically the entire point to killing them

    i learned that from the highlander tv show
