I do not understand how you can only score 60 kills in half an hour. What are you even doing?
Apparently you don't get your puncture mods unless you personally make it to the evac ship. Since these deadweights can't survive the waltz to the exit, they just cycle back into the system to be deadweight or more people's Tethra farming runs.
I guess that's what I get for running with randoms.

Which is why I usually just solo stuff like this, heh. Get Valkyr, grab Galatine, slap on Cleaving Whirlwind, spin2win.
They weren't all useless. Usually two of the three pubbies are surprisingly competent. There always seems to be one guy who is just dead weight though.
@citizen kupo I would do that (well, I'd be perma stealth loki), but it is infested survival. That always runs out of air if you don't have at least one Nekros spamming desecrate 24/7.

Well the new puncture mods prompted me to put a fifth forma into my Lex Prime. You all can thank me if we get Aklex prime in the near future.
I wouldn't be surprised if people were idling/fucking around and letting other people do all the work. Certainly, DE doesn't disincentive such behavior.

Are those the ones that give you space AIDS? Because having that cloud obscure my vision is probably the the most difficult thing they introduced with the new infested, though I like all the new ones.
Also, is there a way to get rid of the AIDS once you get it besides waiting it out? I know that you can transfer it to another player through sexual close contact but I haven't heard if there's a way to cure it like you can the space crabs from the broodmothers.

My funniest experience with the maggots was killing them with melee stealth attacks because I was already wildly slashing my Scoliac at the brood mother as they spawned

Why DE. Why did you make these so rare for a temporary re-release. Effective status builds are rare in general, and most of the mandatory mods aren't available to most of the player base.

I think we're talking about two separate things. It sounds like you're describing getting unintentionally stuck in that horrible map's geometry.
I'm talking about "I'm going to intentionally sit on this weird ledge where the infested can't touch me", and "7 kills in 30 minutes as nova" deadweight leechers.
There is a solution to that kind of crap. It's called Switch Teleport.

EDIT: And yeah, the geometry on the new map is really weird, and it's completely possible to unintentionally get stuck. Armchair is talking about a particular place on one of the tiles that people will look for and jump into intentionally.

i would certainly like to get a hold of the new mods, but i just dont care enough to sit around and grind it all day. Also, they really need to get some system to sink all the spare shit into that people get and just cannot sell. It's like, impossible to move a latron prime set.
I think I'm just gonna skip the tethra mods. I just couldn't give a damn.

so how does vauban help out the tethra grind? i see people asking for them a lot. Last time i went it just didn't seem to help out a whole lot. Maybe people are supposed to stick together more?

Pubs are trying to set up the combo so that Vauban uses vortex to gather all the infested in one place, someone(Excalibur, Saryn, ect.) uses an aoe to kill them all, Nekros desecrates the corpses, and Trinity keeps everyone's energy full. All of which is entirely unnecessary for a 20 minute survival and is boring as hell.
Theres a PA clan in-game which most of us belong to, if you want an invite just ask in here and provide your in-game name and someone will send you one.
