It'd be nice if there were a way to organize it instead of "here's a list of 400 games, have fun!"
Organize it how? They have some options, including filters and sort orders. Mostly I wish I could increase the number of items per page, and screen out games I own.

Thought I could slip one past @Antoshka unnoticed.
Now, to attempt to play it in the context of Pratchett....
And thanks to @Arithon32 for Defenders Quest(Valley of the Forgotten). I'm not sure how I attracted attention, but apparently theirs some sort of Halloween sale going on, or something.

There's endless scrolling if you have Enhanced Steam installed. Alternatively there's this: https://steamdb.info/sales/ (you can hide owned games if you're logged in)
edit: there's also an option to hide owned games on search pages with Enhanced Steam.
Just got my "this is not useful" vote for my Bioshock 2 review, and then a comment appeared ranting about how I said that Bioshock explored the themes of Libertarianism about how "THAT'S NOT LIBERTARIANISM" :v
I thought it was objectivism. Is that similar to libertarianism?
That being said, you're right that Objectivism is probably a better term to use for Bioshock.
Let's just say that it's as accurate to say that the first game deals with libertarianism as the second game deals with communism.
Libertarians are objectivists who don't want to reconcile the fact that they are objectivists.
Edit: well that isn't quite right. Libertarianism is the political structure that results from objectivist philosophy. The complaints of an objectivist society are the same complaints which would occur in a criticism of a libertarian society because they are the same structure.

Ya, I have Enhanced Steam on my home machine, but those options really shouldn't need an extension. C'mon Valve, no one wants to look at 400 games 25 at a time.
SteamDB is better in a lot of ways too, but it would be nice if it could use the Steam scores instead of Metacritic (since a lot of indie games don't have MC scores), and also the mouseover isn't nearly as informative.

I dunno, at least have a 'feature' section like they do with the summer/winter sales; something. They spent all that time on a shiny redesign of the front page, and somehow can't come up with a better way of organizing a semi-major sale other than just giving a massive list of games that happen to be on sale.
I mean, I guess there's the filters on the side so you can narrow it down yourself. It just feels, to me, like there's something major lacking in this presentation. If I were a developer, I'd want some sort of 'feature' something, because as it stands, it's just a sea of games with nothing really having any visual priority over anything else.
Holy crap, another 10 pages since I was last online (and a new thread to boot). I can't bring myself to skim through tonight but I'm assuming it's packed with classiness.
I also noticed Valkyria Chronicles is now on steam. Wishlistin' the hell out of that since I was always intrigued by it, but no one game can justify buying a console I don't already have. (Heavy Rain made me want to get a PS3. Metal Gear Solid 4 killed that urge)
Also I need to check my budget now that I've been paid, but if I've enough after the necessary expenditures I'll be doing... something.
You guys really didn't have to tell me that there was a Halloween sale. I thought I was free until Winter
I'd venture to guess that any game that's on sale that isn't specifically Halloween related, will likely have as much, if not more, of a discount come the Winter Sale.
Sure, grab your 80% off wishlist games, but I wouldn't sweat many of the ~50%'ers unless you just happen to not have a backlog...which..
How is Sir You are Being Hunted? Surviving the Game was one of my favorite movies in high school - is it that with British people instead of Ice T? Ice Tea if you will?

Well, thanks @EvmaAlsar for the copy of it. Guess I'll find out tonight.

So, I put a shortcut to Steam Cleaner on my desktop, but I hated looking at the Javascript thing. If you feel the same way . . . here is an icon for that. It looks small, but it should have all the way up to 256x256 stored in it.
Thanks to @akajaybay for Dungeons of the Endless, it does look interesting. RoguelIke defence sounds suspiciously like some of the greater moments of dwarf fortress.
As to limited wishlists, thats largely due to others here
Edit: how does auto correct change akajaybay to akjaybay? Neither of those are dictionary terms

I've just gotten around to playing SR4 and I basically have a big stupid grin on my face the entire time I'm playing it so I'm definitely looking forward to more of that.

Eeeek. I'm on the road but I see someone else threw a copy at me! I'll bounce that one back once I get to a PC (might be a bit later as the kid is trick or treating tonight). Thanks again! I'll post who it was then too...

That's okay. Just buy Sanitarium.
And there's still the thanksgiving sale before that.

I was so careful on the name, too.

And the weekend sales, and the mid week sales, and the week long sales, and the daily deals, and the hidden sales...

For what it's worth, it actually doesn't. And you can immediately revoke its permissions anyway.

Clearly Steam needs a couple days where there are no deals at all as a goodwill gesture towards our wallets.
