As a relatively new home owner, this is the first time I'll be home on October 31st since moving in. Halloween is largely sneered at in Oz, but it did happen back when I was a teenager (read: we roved around making enormous pests of ourselves. Did you know that if you egg a car, it actually damages the paint if its not quickly removed? I am so sorry :sad: ).

We do have an intercom at the front door, so I'm tempted to emulate that burlesque house episode in the Simpsons.

Crap, I've actually damaged my steam install. Can't leave the palace and cross that tree yard in whiterun without it freezing pretty bad.

It was the offical Skyrim HD stuff that did me in. Repairs attempted tomorrow.

Gimme an airship game where the narratives are told in a manner similar to civil war letters.

Final level is mail ship traveling to the battlefield and waiting for the main character's ship to rendezvous.

I'm debating installing a Tale of Two Wastelands and just shooting through Fallout 3 and NV all at once (not in one session: that'd be crazy. Just all as one game). Does using mods disable Steam stuff, like the overlay and time played counter?

Is anyone else having Steam community pages occasionally come up in another language? I keep seeing stuff in, like Czech. Getting a little bit worried dark forces are monkeying with my internet connection and Steam is actually seeing that request as coming from Europe.

Something is corrupting the icmp checksums when I try to do a traceroute, too. :?

Always comes up in another language for me (not sure which ones, it changes sometimes). I think it has to do with the referers IP or their link (which may language info in it) because it's always the same language for the same sites.

Sometimes when you google and open community page set to czech for example the language switches to that search result. A bit annoying, I just add ?l=en to the end of the line in address bar.

Or you can do what I do and press all the buttons on the website until you figure out where the "language" one is.
