It is the most realistic Keven Spacey simulator to-date. It has a fun dumb action movie campaign, a bunch of co-op nonsense and some pretty dang solid multiplayer!

The movement is pretty great! But not as great as the free-running jetpack shenanigans you get up to in Titanfall

But still way better than any other Call of Duty game yet!

It looks really rad and I'm glad they're going in the right direction again with Call of Duty, but there is an overflow of games hitting in the next few weeks

Also I guess I'm kinda interested in this version, I do actually like the campaigns of the other games, though I missed out on Ghosts. Maybe grab it in the upcoming Target B2G1 sale.

This was the first call of duty game I've really played since Modern Warfare 2. They just kind of totally lost me.

But this one seems totally rad so far! And I've missed the fast-paced multi. I still have BF4 on my PS4 as well, and should get back to that. Cause they do different things really well.

Getting used to clicking the left stick in to boost in different directions is a bit weird though.

Anybody know how to get Uplay to recognize a game you already have backed up so you don't have to redownload 26 GIGS of a thing?

So the planets have aligned and this is my one time every like 4 years or so to get into the hype of a Call of duty game. I watched the quick look on Giant Bomb and the campaign stuff was getting me into it but when they switched to multiplayer my interest just died. I was kinda expecting a lot more mobility like Titanfall but it still seems like regular call of duty multiplayer but with bigger jumps.

But after seeing this sweet deal posted in the steam thread I'm back in.

Yeah i was pretty done with this series for quite a while. It definitely has its flaws. And this game doesn't fix them all.

But it is a pretty good one of these (that looks amazing and actually like it was made for next gen unlike ghosts). And it's been long enough since my last one to jump back in

I am interested in this game, but my budget is small. How long will the base game thrive before map packs turn this into a 80 dollar game?

I had a blast with black ops 1, but didnt care for mw3.

I've never bought a single piece of call of duty DLC. Just always seems like a poor value.

Battlefield DLC is good stuff. But what you get for what you pay with CoD stuff seems a bit weak

I played the new maps a bunch. Some of them were really great. I haven't bought premium on ps4 yet... I think... Cause I never actuality get around to playing it even though I like it a bunch

BF4 actually disenchanted me pretty hard with the series

It didn't feel very different at all, it felt more like an annualized sequel, I didn't like most of the maps, and most importantly there were, as far as I could tell, very few "Standard" servers on PC and boy do I hate every server setting the game to 1000 tickets

I started noticing everything took like a super long time in that game and I'm excited to get back into cod as a result

I am really digging this game. I haven't felt this way about a CoD game since MW2. The giant ass spectacle is all there in the campaign, but they key difference this time is that Kevin Spacey's character is actually a character. He has depth and reasoning to him. On top of that Spacey does an ace job with the acting. It really helps the campaign along.

As for the MP, its a bunch of dumb fun. The class customisation is the best that has ever been in the series, and the move from kill streaks to score streaks (just get x points however) encourages people to play to the dang objective.

People keep making the comparison with Titanfall but the fact is the movement is very different. In fact, the movement feels just like UT. Side/back dashes, double jumps, air dashes, fast and frantic gunplay. It really feels like UT with a more believable arsenal.

Also it legit has a bombing run mode.

This is what I am waiting to see! I am waiting for the first video to come up that is like a highlight of movement mastery. Most of the twitch streams I have seen have people just running around on the ground, which is fine, but not what I am personally looking for. And I am not sure if that is just people being new to the game or what. Because a lot of the early titanfall streams just had people running around on the ground too.

I mean this is not as air focused as titanfall. No wall running. You can do awesome jumps though to get height and dodge around up there a bit and use it to maneuver to get the drop on people.
