It's funny. Old Bastion was very vulnerable to flanker characters. They made it where you could shoot him now from range, but balanced it too far over with too much armor.
The armor change basically flipped his counter list entirely. Characters like Tracer/Reaper/Genji that were the best at dealing with him basically immediately die without their ults(or in the case of Genji, a really stupid Bastion has to keep attacking through his reflect), and characters like Widowmaker and Hanzo that were horrible against him before are now the "best".
Only problem is, Bastion is perfectly capable of attacking the snipers from as far away as the snipers can attack him. Which is fucking stupid. But Bastion can heal - they can't.

While I'm predicting obvious future skins, I'm also going to put money on a Warcraft Abomination one for Roadhog.
My favorite part is when Kaplan talks about ranked play:
I'd stated that we were looking at 6vs6 team matchups for competitive play, because in my mind it's a competitive game and a team sport, and the only way to play it competitively is in a 6vs6 scenario. Players really rallied against this and they said they really needed a solo queue, to give them a sense of progression and feel themselves getting better. And then I kind of took a step back when I was reading this feedback and I realised, okay, competitive play means something different to all sorts of different people.
I'm happy to read this, because some sort of solo ranked play is a big want of mine. Shows how closely they're monitoring player feedback, too.
Would there be any interest in getting a full 6v6 private game going sometime this weekend say Saturday around 1pm PST? Not sure if there are enough people in the beta for that yet. If not then getting a full 6 person pre-made would be awesome as well.

Actually, there are a few Warcraft skins that could work well.
Torb would obviously be a dwarf.
Symmetra would work well with a Night Elf skin, I think. Growing structures that attack and all.
Junkrat I think would pull off an undead skin really well. He's got the posture and limp for it, as well as a fun pairing with Abom Roadhog. Just make his bombs plague themed, and make his tire a rigged wagon wheel, and you've got a skin everybody wants.

I'm sure there's potential for other Blizzard skins too. Making D.Va a Starcraft ghost in a mech comes to mind.

76/Zarya as a Terran Marine.
Reaper as the Lich King.
Bastion as a rock elemental.
Mercy as the resurrection angel from WoW that you see at graveyards when you die.
Diablo themed skins would be more original to the character, just give them a gothic or demonic look reminiscent of the IP's characters without necessarily trying to recreate any given character or player class.

I'd prefer an Orc over a dumb cow any day of the week.
On a related note: I feel like Reinhardt is probably the best tank atm just due to sheer versatility. I can't think of other tanks that can guarantee a one shot kill on anyone at any time, plus that shield is absolutely amazing for a variety of reasons and in a variety of situations. His ult is most likely the best CC in the game, too.
Granted, I've not dug too deep into the other tanks yet, but so far I just can't see a reason to ever not play Reinhardt.
Edit: As soon as I posted this I got Reinhardts Bundeswher skin. The camouflage one, in case I butchered the spelling. Too bad I already have Blackhardt.

Stepping away from Blizzard at the moment, I can't believe I haven't thought of the obvious pirate skin for Junkrat yet. Peg leg, cannonball bombs, ship steering wheel for his tire...

Reinhardt is badass and generally a jack in the box, but there are some situations where Winston is better. Reinhardt's shield is the hardiest, but he can't do anything else while using it, which leaves plenty of niches for the other tanks to fill.

Winston is superior in mobility. Which is sometimes crucial to breaking those weird choke points. Also, he can attack while his shield is up. I like to jump in front of torb turrets, drop the shield and then lightning gun the turret down.
Zarya is insane on defense. Especially something like a payload map where they constantly have multiple characters bunched up around the objective. Her targeted shields absolutely save lives. And her ult is right up there in CC power as Reinhardt. But from range.
I honestly don't play enough Roadhog or D.Va to say much.
I definitely think Reinhardt is an all around strong character. And possibly the best all around tank. But I think the others definitely have their place.
Also, Reinhardt players get way to crazy with that charge

Hanzo can definitely still kill a Bastion by just charging and popping in and out. He'll take chip damage each time while dealing fully powered up shots on Bastion. Only takes ~3 shots. There's no time for Bastion to heal in between the shots.
I do not get the amount of Tauren hate I see on here. What did they ever do to you?
Stood on top of an auction house npc we were trying to click on.
Also, while a WoW Dwarf skin would be an easy way to go for Tjornborn, true greatness would be a Lost Viking skin, whichever one fits his model best.
Ha! Yes! Torb would be one of them and the turret would the other two shooting holding up a cannon (s) on their shoulders.
It would likely take a LOT of work (and also likely not fit the theme of lost Vikings)...but Lost Vikings in a WW2-inspired machine gun nest where one is feeding an ammo belt into the gun while the other is shooting.

Maybe I'm in a vast minority here, but I'm more than happy with the idea of Overwatch being it's own self-contained universe and not a Blizzard all-stars environment like Heroes. I'd rather see what kind of cool in-universe art assets they can come up with rather than hitting all the other franchises in turn.

Even though I 100% agree, they already merged the universes with the security guard playing Hearthstone in the trailer, and D'va being a professional SC2 player.

Yeah, at this point you could have Blizz franchise skins for characters in the sense that they're actually just cosplaying games that exist in-universe for them.

They can be brutal in the right situation. But are also fairly easy to deal with.

I'm gonna say Viking skin. It quickly transforms to Air mode while dashing.
Also, Reaper skin for Pharah.
