    The comet has a sound.

I wonder what it tastes like now.

    Let's see...water, dust, methane, CO, CO2...ammonia...

Gritty wet farts or pee. That's what it tastes like.

Listening to the comet sound, it's pretty neat how sections of it sound just like a strong wind blowing by your ears.

Edit: I was looking at the Comet/LA picture again, and had a question. Is this a big, small, or average sized comet? What about compared to an asteroid?

Philae has now gone into hibernation, and will only revive when its solar panels get more sunlight.

Before this happened, it was apparently able to rotate itself (in what direction?) 30 degrees. With some luck (I suspect rather a lot) the new angle will get more solar energy.

Beyond that, it isn't dead, and next year the comets orientation will have changed (seasons), allowing more sunlight onto Philae.

It had a good little run, I can't wait for more data/photos to be released. The comet was a great deal softer than expected, I wonder what that means for its composition.

Is the orbiter part still orbiting and taking pictures of the comet?

I love the writing on the twitter for the lander and rosetta.

    Just all having a conversation.

    Being supportive of each other
