Help Changing a Lightbulb

I've never encountered a bulb that wasn't the simple screw-in socket variety. Until now, I guess. I don't even know what to search for. The fixture/bulb appear to be one unit but I know that's crazy. Pics are in the spoiler.

Anyone know how to do this or at least how to direct my search?

It looks like it might be similar to this kind of bulb I have in my place which has two prongs that you slot into the white ceramic bit and give a quarter turn to detach. Grip the bulb and the white bit where the wires are coming out and see if you can turn the bulb counter-clockwise.

Looks like a halogen lamp. Just pull.
Er.. Hold the little plastic thing with the wires coming out, and pull that out of the base of the actual light, the glass thingie. Should just be two pins.

And while the voltage is likely to be just 12 or 24 Volts, still make sure the circuit is turned off before you go janking stuff out.

Thanks guys. I just had to pull. I'm surprised how much force was necessary. Almost thought I was going to break it.

Well, that solves THAT question for me...

How many forumers does it take to change a lightbulb? :D
