I'd like to just take a moment and say that the Orion test flight was successful and that's the most amazing thing to happen to this blue planet in a long while. We're going back to space and we're one step closer to Destiny just being our reality, giant floaty death balls and time traveling machines and all!

Oh, I'm also back in excite mode for the new stuff for some weird reason.
But I dunno if it's worth it with the expansion around the corner.
I'm buying it. It still has some good perks for a striker. Besides, I might run VoG as soon as possible after the reset and get lucky grabbing the raid chest piece.

While I agree that being insensitive is an issue, so is being oversensitive.

I picked up the raid gloves, Found Verdict, a cool raid cloak, a chatterwhite, and a Vision of Confluence, which I love.

I'm hoping they do something cool for Christmas. The Jack O'Lantern heads were cool (if a bit buggy in that it only worked on my warlock) but I want more dammit. Make the Cosmodrome covered in snow, or have it snowing or something (I mean it IS Russia after all). Also fur cloaks.
They already upgraded the Mythoclast. Including all existing ones.
Which the could just do to the other exotics but...
I thought the whole point of that update was that the Mythoclast would have a higher attack than any other weapon full stop.
Do we know it won't get upgraded again to even higher?
I think it's safe to say Mythoclast won't be upgraded in the Dark Below. It might become eligible in the next expansion though. My guess is that the reward for having Mythoclast is to have the "best" exotic primary to start in Crota on day one. Then the exotic from Crota Hard will be the best exotic in the House of Wolves, ... repeat indefinitely.

Where as I completed the bounty, blew a shitload of mats and glimmer, and will still have to use a fucking shard to get the upgraded gun.
Because fuck people that already did it, right?
And just to be clear, I ain't mad that new people don't have to deal with all that shit. I'm happy for them! I'm just not happy that everyone who already did it gets fucked.

Out of the few things I find dumb in this expansion this one takes the cake. I'm super glad I'm lazy with exotic bounties since I have two in my inventory right now.

Also I'm full on preparing for the dlc. Getting lock to 30 today. Possibly titan if a hm vault run can net either helm or chest.
Getting my exotic bounties to the last step (thorn, pocket infinity, super good advice)
Getting all vanguard/crucible/faction(well some factions) to be crazy close to rank up across all chars to spam commendations
Final step will be going to bed Monday night with each character sitting with 20 completed bounties to hand in so I can pop telemetry and über level my brand new uograded thorn in preparation for the new raid.
You know what I would like? Story expansions. Expand on this world, Bungie. Not everything has to be raid-related. I would absolutely pay for a pack of missions that are more about the story than a raid. Give us quest bounties that involve going places and doing things other than just "complete 25 unrelated strikes." If we had interconnected missions expanding on the Nine, I would eat that shit up.

I'm pretty sure when I was teleported the first time last night I ran right past the first oracle, and wiped us. Whoops! Even with the couple it was still only about an hour to complete it, so no big deal.
Also, are people here planning on completely bailing on the Vault? I hope not, as I probably won't pick up the expansion until Xmas time. Even if I did, I don't have the play time to run with the first groups on Crota to figure it all out, so I'm pretty much relegated to waiting until people know what's going on. In the mean time it would be cool to continue running the Vault, and finding all of the goodies inside.

I'm still going to squeeze in VoGs, because I still need a Mythoclast. Plus it gives me a shot at some other exotics I need, like an Icebreaker and a Ballerhorn.

Vog boots are literally build defining for pvp. Vog boots plus ghalajorn is insane for crucible. Right now I'm forced into using admantarium on titan and lucky on hunter cause I need that extra heavy ammo.

Yeah there is a ton of VoG loot I still need plus I have a bunch of friends who have done the raid once or less ( a couple just recently got the One ). I'll be willing to do it to help others because that's the right thing to do, it's still fun, plus I have a level 14 hunter who obviously hasn't tried it yet.
I'm hoping this will get people to keep playing it. It's easily the most enjoyable content they have for the game currently.
