I'm not a huge fan of Sera's outlook and character.
But damn if her in party banter isn't some of the best. Last night I threw her, Blackwall, and Dorian into a party. Sera and Dorian's banter had me laughing out loud almost every time.
Are there any *particularly* important (relevant to Inquisition) decisions in the Keep that I should go through? I never played DA2, should I just let the DA2 decisions be default or are there interesting alternatives? Just skimming through DA2 spoilers I think I would like Anders to be around because I thought he was alright in Awakenings, which I did play, but obviously not having played DA2 makes it hard to fully understand the context around that big choice.
Ideally I would go through that massive 2 hour video and think about every choice but I don't have the patience for that and I doubt 90% of those decisions actually matter.

From what I can tell, the most plot-affecting keep choices are from DAO.
However, while it's rather minor, some people will notice if Anders is still around.
Also, the idea of making long movie-videos of the choices from DAO and DA2 strangely appeals to me. Maybe I'll do that at some point.

I dislike Sera buuuuut she stabs people in the back with 200-dps daggers as well as anyone, so
I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.

I think Cole might backstab better? Sera has the best ability spam specialization, by which I mean mash a button, stuff dies. I have got to try that for a dagger rogue at some point.

Anyone I've added to the party so far, that is.
I'm having trouble with In Your Heart Shall Burn at level 8 on Nightmare. I can scrape by on life support until I reach the boss, but with few or no potions left he's a bit much.
Might just load an earlier save and get up to level 10 before trying again.

I would recommend that Alistair or Loghain survive the Blight and continue to be members of the Grey Wardens.

9/10 dragons down.
Turns out I missed the Crestwood dragon, the hissing wastes dragon, and one other. I'm examining the exalted plains and the emerald graves. One of those have to be the last one.

Great. Killed the last dragon, and the trophy didn't even pop. Ah, well.
if Anders is alive after DA2 - does he make an appearance in DA:I?
No.
Before following any advice, opinions, or thoughts I may have expressed in the above post, be warned: I found Keven Costners "Waterworld" to be a very entertaining film.
Man it seems like beserker is a super bad stat on an item
There are two levels to it. One amounts to "Take Double Damage to do 10% more damage" and the other "Take Triple Damage to do 20% more damage". So, yeah, it sucks.

I could not believe those when I first found stuff that gave those. It seems like they're at least a decimal point off.

And neither Varric not Hawke sound fond of him at all.
Actually it changes depending on how you ended DA2
Based on the different DA2 saves I used, one Hawke was actually still close with him and was worried about leaving him alone while she handled this Corpheus thing, the other was pissed as hell and cursed his name.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they were really thinking with berserk. The only way you'd want to use it is on someone who you never expected to draw aggro and thus never suffer massive damage, but the marginal benefit isn't worth the risk, especially with better options competing for that slot.

Yeah, 10% more damage taken to do 10% more damage and 20%/20% would be reasonable. 100%/10% and 200%/20% are just ridiculous even for ranged dps. First item I saw it on was a shield, made me WTF!? for a bit for sure.

The only class I think it could be useful on is Knight Enchanter when you also have a second mage with Barrier to act as a backup.

I happened to have Vivienne with me this time around. When you ask her to help recruit Harrit, she haughtily and loudly suggests that I shouldn't waste my time with this peasant, and that she could find a proper chevalier to look after our horses in a hot minute. Of course Harrit then gets his back up and growls that "no Orlesian piss-pot knows more about horses than I do." Harrit recruited. (And this is why I love Vivienne even though I disagree with her about most things.)
Want to find me on a gaming service? I'm SwashbucklerXX everywhere.
So I was doing Army stuff today and was just about to finish when the worker at the final checkout said I couldn't be completed until I retrieved my yearly brain injury screening.
I went, "Pbbbbbbbt!"
I blame Sera.

Would anyone be interested in a writeup of racing to tier 3 schematics and the materials to build them? I've already posted some parts, but I could do it more comprehensively and in one place.

This website isn't exactly a writeup, but it tells shows you each schematic and what stats they can give depending on what tier of material you put in it.

Recruiting him with Dorian is similarly funny. Your Inquisition is not going to use Vent horses on his watch.

Yeah, but it doesn't tell you where to go to get anything. Knowing dawnstone and volcanic aurum are tier 3 is good, but without having a supply of them and the plans on hand to put them in, not all that helpful.
I'm finally nearing the last stretch, I think. And only 72 hours in! I just finished the Winter Palace.
I managed to blackmail all three to work together. That was satisfying.
That leaves Empries du Lion and the Hissing Wastes left to explore, several companion side-quests, and dragon hunting. I'm sure that will only take, oh, 15-20 hours!

it tells you where the crafting mats drop.
and schematics are random drops. farm ruins/cradle or wait for someone to write a mod/hack for an auto schematic adder.

Yes, I did. I have the crafting page and the schematics page open in two different tabs. I've used them both as part of my efforts to get everyone kitted out with the best stuff. But it wasn't the only resource I used, and I'm wondering if compiling everything I know about the process would be helpful.

Reload a save before you killed the last dragon, and kill the dragon again. Basically the 11th dragon kill on your profile will ding the trophy. You can also do another playthrough and kill the first dragon there to ding it.

Alternately, a choice you make at the end game can allow you to fight an extra dragon.

Think about everything you liked about Anders in Awakening and then negate it. That's Anders in DA2.
DA2 Anders is the worst.
