Man, I have been on an insufferable loss streak lately, the kind of funk that makes you question why you even bother playing the game, and if you even know what you're doing anymore. Been constantly losing to snowballing storm spirits and ultra farmed anti mages.
Add me on steam. Once I get a five stack we can just play all pick and make our teams color coordinated. Or themes. " blue team!" "more then 4 legs!" "Goblinoids!" " All melee hard carries"! Although that one I see all the time in pubs.

Hey, why wouldn't you, though, right? Especially when people don't buy Pipe, just refresher nuke 10 people at once, it's the way to be.
I played Veno in a game earlier this weekend, blink-ult'ed in their mass, asked Zeus to wait a bit and refresher ult them. He didn't wait, ult'ed them right away, didn't kill anyone, they all crawled back to fountain on 1 HP and lived.

I don't understand the dota levels thing in the new patch. Is it just e-peen? Like even less point-ful than hats? And how is it different than the level i already have?

Earth Spirit is just a terror if someone knows what they're doing with him. In one game he circled around me, and then kicked me into his own fountain. Then in all chat, he said, "Skillz".
Which I just had to accept. I thought it was a goddamn hilarious and terrific move to pull.
I'm assuming you're referring to his Ult, though. And, yes, it's awful to deal with in that confined space.

Go for it man! I've played him a few times and he's REALLY hard to do anything half-competent on, but when you finally do something you intended to do it feels so sweet.
I think I like him the way I like Timbersaw: even when you suck and die a lot you were zipping around like a crazy person, and you died with a smile on your face.

Yes you can but the game has hard coded default that if you get a bug will override it. Says I have it set to the letter G in audio setting yet nothing happens when I hit G (or anything i set it to) but the little mike icon appears when I hit Mouse 4 that is bound to nothing in options. It's even overriding the mute I have set on my in game mic.
It's a small thing but it's been bugging me to no end. I have used mouse 4 as my chat option since I bought a brand new MX518 15 years ago lol.
Also, I find it hilarious (and not really surprising) that after all this time to run the Reborn client and submit bugs, there are 10x more submitted today than any other day.

OTOH, Aui's Techies is like Broodmama. If you don't ban it you spend the whole game saying "I should have banned it".

Aui's techies just destroys most standard lineups. His mine placement strategy is a giant mind game that he keeps seeming to win.
Just had my first good Earth Spirit game and my word was it fun. Rolling around creating mad space for my Spectre. He's a bit like Timbersaw in that he makes map movement and teamfights into some zany combat parkour thing.
If you get good at earth spirit it will astound you the types of things you can get away with. It doesn't hurt that most players aren't really sure what he's capable of either.

Also interesting to note: his 10 best matchups are almost all in the meta, and his 10 worst are not. So there's that too. Yeah, I think I want to git gud with the Ebola Spirit.
Yeah my old autoexec had a toggle for ability quickcast which is sooo important on Meepo. I probably won't touch the hero till I figure out how to set that up again, most of my other autoexec commands carried over.
So today as Earth Spirit I just saw the best and worst of 5-man sticking against a gank-heavy squad. Against Slark, Centaur, Sniper, and Riki - all with shadowblades or natural invis, I just started feeding no matter how hard I tried. Then I tried something new. I just right-click followed my carry while the team stuck as 5. Suddenly I stopped dying. We got kills! I had money! And then when the other 4 dived past T3s I was like "my safety blanket just dived, soooo I think safety is now inside the enemy base..." So I dropped a rock and rolled in with my team and juuuuuuust missed the Slark who tried to shadowblade pounce me from behind. That felt sweet.
Then when we got megaraxed the team won 3 consecutive teamfights but lacked the necessary risk-taking to go for throne. I think in this bracket one of the biggest causes for losses is the fear of losing - "if we take a risk going aggressive we may die and lose". But then they you lose anyway.
I'm still trying to figure out how the hell we won this game. And it wasn't even some "win one team fight late game and throne it" kind of win. We won 3 or 4 legit team fights to take the win. This is with no one buying sentries and showfiend starting every team fight with an ult on top of us, and crystal maiden getting off 5-8 seconds of her ult every time. Not to mention I was god awful and missing every hook and pretty much never initiating. It's honestly baffling.
I think it was the lina and wr buying bkb's instead of more damage. I don't even know who the hell the bkb's were for...

There is no better lategame support than Omniknight, his ult is incredible and he can give your carry practically constant disable immunity. The only reason he isn't seen in competitive is because his early game is trash.

A pretty by-the-books weaver game (featuring some cool Magnus plays)
A Rubick escape extravaganza!
and a stomp as Windranger that I would almost be proud of if my early game wasn't so terrible.
