I got Iron Horde Gold last night. They fixed it or we got lucky. We were around 1400 points whereas before we struggled to hit 700-800. I didn't see the huge amount of toasts with bonus points after the boss died today either. They are cross-server capable as well.
I don't know why, but i'm struggling for Garrison Resources on my warrior. When i leveled my hunter I had 0 issues but with my warrior, who i'm going to main, it seems like i'm just barely gaining resources.
I do think that part of it is the fact that I never got a follower with the extra garrison resource trait. getting 120 instead of 40 for a mission is a huge benefit.

I've gotten a couple recently, both 100. One needed 615 and I failed that one but there was another with no ilevel and got 500 from two. There was also a third with three at 630 for what would have been 910 but failed it.
I did some more follower mission math. Looking at the garbage gold missions. It looks like they just didn't bother balancing the reward of level 100 missions. Sub 100 you get can get solidly better gold (like maybe 5 times) on a follower/time basis. Still not good, but At 100, the gold gets a little better and the missions take three times as long. So unless you are out of other missions, the opportunity cost is trash. At 100 you are getting 4-10g per resource spent (usually 7.5 if it's not a Treasure mission), I'm sure you get a better return from the Trading Post.
I just think of the gold as a bonus on top of the experience.

Sure. And it's a crappy one. Would I rather have have 3 iLevel 615s earn me 75g, or 12,000 extra follower XP? Or a gear upgrade I can wear? At 615, literally every mission rewards: player 630 gear, follower upgrades, 12,000 bonus follower XP, 130 garrison resource, or 75g. Only in the case that I already have the subject player upgrade on every spec I use or every eligible follower was epic, would the 75g be preferable.
We were at 980 last night on our iron horde. It's doable, if we had had 3 dps instead of a tank, a healer as DPS, and a healer that forgot to switch specs we probably could've done it.

Horror story time:
Did challenge mode for the first time with pubbies. I thought, "How bad could this be? We're just completing it for the loot". Oh god. So bad. The healer is decked out in full heroic loot but does not understand the concept of challenge mode. Stands in everything and dies multiple times, which results in tons of wipes. Teron'Gor is a very healer intensive fight. I think we wiped like 18 times to him. It took us 2 hours and 53 minutes to do Auchidon challenge mode. I was thankful to get loot that was an upgrade so it wasn't a total waste.
I wasn't expecting a bronze, but I also wasn't expecting it to take three hours. Learned some valuable lessons though. Challenge modes are pretty fucking hard.
Anyways, I'm looking for people to do WoW stuff with on Horde side. I'm on Ice Crown. I got a guild, but it is basically a ghost town. My bnet is Robes #1998
I did an Iron Horde garrison invasion earlier today with a gold score. We were 3 dps. I think they might've done a small fix since my two prior Iron Horde invasion attempts were both around 800-900 in score, yet there wasn't that much of a difference in tactics or something like that.

The only invasion I've done has been Iron Horde. There was definitely an issue. Enemies simply did not spawn fast enough. It was literally not possible to get 1000pts. There simply wasn't enough to do.
Invasions are pretty buggy. A friend and I did Shadowmoon clan invasion in my garrison. We got gold, got the lootbag for gold, but got the achievement for only completing silver. We submitted a ticket and bug report. Their response to our ticket was basically "Just do it over again".

I fucking knew something was wrong with Invasion reps when I'd been doing dailies since the third day WoD released and got no Invasions.
Also DK DPS is just so good at Invasions it's ridiculous. Charge into a swarm of enemies and cleave them all down with Blood Boil after infecting one, making sure to space in Death Strikes when Dark Succor procs and end each battle at full health. I can defend a single gate entirely by myself.

Curious to try one now because the last one I did we had three people going balls to the wall and we got to like 751 when all was said and done and stuff had been dying super fast and no buildings were lost all optional stuff done nearly as fast as it became available.

Got first 3 bosses down in Highmaul normal last night. Guild is carrying a bunch of baddos because of flex and 2 of our 3 10m healers quit going into WoD, so we're in a right state.
Brackenspore or whatever was a really neat fight, favorite of the four i've done so far. Tectus seems like a hot mess, but hopefully we can get him down tonight.
I'd just do the group one and join a LFG to get it done. I can use apexis to buy mounts and followers, not to mention a weekly coin since my spread for that is Apexis, Garrison, Bunker.
I've been doing the solo dailies when it's one I haven't done before/have achievements to do still. Then after I fill up the bar or complete the achievements I drop the quest and hop in a group finder raid for the group daily and finish it in less time than it took me to do the solo stuff.

Another thing that was in the notes was "cloth chests can now drop from personal loot" which before they adamantly believed that it was just rng. I ended up getting a warforged chest from a follower mission but still that was an annoying gap in my armor for a while.
The group ones can be hilarious though, with constant roaming pug raids clearing whole swaths of the territory...except the entrance/exit to the zone.
Joining a group for one of those with the group finder can be pretty funny too. People are constantly joining and leaving, and there's always at least two people who join and say "can i get a summon plz"
Shit now I'm worried about that 100% purple weapon I sent my bros on this morning. Thanks herpes you're a fucking pal. Way to make me worry because of your incompetence!

Easy if you want to be a jerk about it by tagging enemies with Rain of Fire as people slam through.
The enemies also aren't that bad. You can solo them. It just takes too long to do so.
