So everyone makes fun of ridiculous Inner Fire Priest shenanigans... but every time I see them, I never have the answers.
Like, T1 Young Priestess. T2 Lightwell. T3 Inner Fire. I lose to these chucklefucks! What the hell?
It certainly can work, but you need 3 cards to pull it off and there all weak cards their own. There are plenty of games they didn't hit it or the other player had an owl

I still say Divine Spirit isn't a weak card in its own right. Put it on a shieldmasta/belcher and you have one big wall for that hunter/zoo to punch through (assuming no owl, of course). The issue is that priest is already short on card slots so it's tough to fit into most decks.
Also, a singleton of Lightwell can be a very good anti-aggro tool. Priest is actually surprisingly lacking in burst heals--holy fire and light of the naaru are the only other choices, with the earlier being tough to run two of and the latter being very mediocre in general.
*= Statement may or may not be based on actual science.
Ahahahaha, you know what's even more asshole than playing zoo? Playing zoo in ARENA:
Okay, it's not really zoo. There's not actually that much value from the minions: Abusive Sergeant, Elven Archer, Harvest Golem, and 2 Piloted Shredders are the only real value. Still, this deck was hella abusive.
Here's win 11: turn 6 lethal.
Here's win 12: the Rogue has 14 cards left in her deck. Fel Reaver milled me down to 2 cards (including Ragnaros), and I TAPPED to get the Warlord and play it, like a maniac. (Also, not the only game where I won from fatigue.)
Hmm, Troggzor, Crush or Gorehowl for a control warrior deck? Cairne is too puny for that slot.
I had troggzor played against me and he did nothing against my handlock. He's probably alright tech against the mill/fatigue decks. I don't like gore howl anymore, 4 weapons is already plenty.
Personally I just run more 6 drops (and run only boom) and take the one crystal waste. Also maiden+slam is a great turn 7 anyway.

I like crush, not that I've played all that much warrior of late
but I also try to like cards that aren't really good all the time and need it beaten into me that they aren't worth it
grrr I haven't been this annoyed by maintenance since WoW. losing to multiple hunters before it started was not the way to go out.
In thinking about other fatigue deck versions I thought about a warrior like that but never actually put it together. Acolytes seem strange when you want to ensure you dont fatigue yourself to death, but I guess armor helps and I haven't seen the deck in action so maybe it is fine. The burst from a late juggernaut and brewmaster probably makes it irrelevant.
Wonder how blizzard feels about the rise of these type of strategies.
@Atlas in Chains Do you have a decklist? I'm trying that and just failing like usual on priest.
@38thDoe
I'll try to post it tomorrow when the server is up in my prime time. Just don't get your hopes up about its performance, I don't think the deck is very good, it was just a lot of fun.

I opened an Echo of Medivh last night. Saw Amaz use that in legend play a few weeks ago and it looks like a great spell. Of course he had Dr. Boom and could recycle bombs and what have you, but still.

Haven't seen this yet- if you echoes a silenced minion, you get a regular (unsilenced) version of the card, right?
And conversely, if you echoes a faceless manip'd creature, or a creature that's been buffed, you get a copy of the creature that has been maniped and not buffed, right?
I opened one of these and am considering playing it...

Correct on all counts. Minions sent from the board to your hand become unmodified card versions of whatever minion they were on the board, no matter how altered; buffs/debuffs are removed. Faceless Manipulator doesn't get a buff that turns him into a minion, he becomes that minion.
Was digging through my Hearthstone screen shots and I found the best pack I've opened. Ethereal Arcanist, Molten Giant, Cenarius, Cone of Cold, and Azure Drake. I think I got that out of an Arena reward.
I wonder how much the game would change if you could choose weather to go first or second if you win the pre-game coin flip like just about every other card game out there. I feel like it might add an interesting dynamic such as electing to go second to deny turn 1 coin shenanigans from zoo and suchlike.

He actually addressed the acolyte issue in the vod. Basically he's really reliant on his specific combo to kill the opponent, so he wants to draw into it. It's not as much about fatigue or burning cards as it is just surviving and drawing the game out as long as possible.
Would appreciate it if someone could share a control warrior decklist that does well against handlock. I suspect it's a matter of subbing in a little more removal, but it's tough to figure out where to make cuts without compromising other matchups. I'm also thinking of dropping Sylvanas for Faceless Manipulator, and crafting a second Shieldmaiden to replace Iron Juggernaut.

Speaking of, this warrior deck Noxious put together is really interesting. Makes great use of brewmaster and Juggernaut.
