One of her fireteam got greased before they even made it into the Temple of Crota. This is an area you can clear out on your own at level 6.
Then I guess everyone else died and she spent "years" living in the hive tunnels trying to find a way out of a place that you literally stumbled into so I guess she wasn't able to leave until she somehow stole a hive fighter or something and now she spends her time standing in one spot in the tower being all emo and shouting about "her pain" to any Guardian who comes within earshot.

She's an awoken.
However, the reason she has three eyes is because of her time in the tunnels with the Hive. She lost an eye and she took an acolyte's to replace them and/or to hide herself from the Hive, under the advice of Toland.
Because Toland is the kind of calm, levelheaded dude you want to take advice from w/r/t stealing eyeballs.
When you're stuck in a pit full of hive, you'll do whatever you need to survive. Even if it's batshit insane.
@Voranth@Dignified Pauper and I had a run through with a couple other dudes of normal vog last night. We had a couple of people who were going in blind, and it turned me into a semi-sherpa, which I am probably not qualified for.
We had a great run up until gatekeepers,then things got a little rough. We made it atheon, and we nearly had him down a couple times before I had to leave. Hope you guys had a good time, I did!

The only complaint I have about the sharefactory video editing app on the PS4 is that it doesn't have Yakety Sax that I can set my Don't Touch Me-fueled solo Lamp Maze run to.

Although it turned out I was being used by Zombie to achieve his revenge on Xyor. I was expecting a hard fight. What I didn't expect was Zombie popping Weapons of Light and ramming his Gjallerhorn down Xyor's throat, laughing while he did it.
Future reference, Xyor doesn't handle rockets to the esophagus very well.

This has been a pretty common problem for awhile. I usually fix it by leaving the party, exiting to the Home Screen and quitting the Party app; when I re-join the party, my mic usually works.
Some people have more luck with hard-resetting their Xbone, but I'm too impatient for that. =P

You know, the ship should let you apply a shader, or have it use the shader from your armor. Then at least we would get more variety in the ships than 80% of the found ones being bronze/brown

Problem is that a lot of the found ones are the same exact ship with a different color scheme.
I mean, I agree with you, but the variety in shapes just isn't there yet.
Notes: The first run of any glimmer-farm will be ugly because you won't have your super charged; these clips are taken from mid-run to demonstrate my methods. I am not wearing Obsidian Mind (though I do have it; sorry, Obi). I have 262 Intellect in this video; I don't know if that affects the amount of super you get from kills.
You could probably adjust this technique for Titan or Hunter, but I find it easiest to do on my Warlock.
I generally make between 10k and 15k glimmer (counting Network Keys) in 20 minutes.

I'd rather run a HM VoG, but I could also run a Crota, I'll be available in an hour after I get lunch.
So uhh, I jus went 20 and 2 in a rumble match, with thunderlord...
... I think machine guns with that high impact low rate of fire stat are a little broken in this mode at least.
Edit: guess the matchmaking had its revenge, went 9 and 18 in the next match. The only player lower than me was a level 6 using the starting white rifle....
