Nevermind, he's moving on to a new project for BioWare he can't talk about.
Please god be KotOR 3.
Don't get your hopes up. KOTOR was murdered by SWTOR. Although, I would love to be wrong about that one.

Eh, I don't think it was. KoToR and SW:ToR are the same in only name. They play differently, have very differnet goals and are just very different games. Not that I think Gaider's project is necessarily KoToR3, but I wouldn't be shocked at all to see a new KoToR in the next couple of years to correspond with the new trilogy.
It wouldn't be KotoR 3. It could, however, be a new KotoR that ties into the new canon that Disney is putting together for Star Wars, unbound by any previous KotoR stuff. Personally, though, I hope its a new IP.

Yeah, uh, I always liked taky's writing an order of magnitude better anyway. Gaider was always much better at gameplay, It was a waste to have him writing when he was able to do things like Ascension

Jade Empire was awesome. I wasn't saying that as a pejorative, more because I'm pretty sure that IP is very much dead and not coming back...which is sad, I really liked Jade Empire.
So I finally found out what was causing massive graphical glitches in this game for me. Stuff like whole mountainsides flickering in and out of existence (always terrain above the ground). Not textures. The whole geometry, you can see through it. In places like the plains it was unplayable.
It was the Nvidia drivers. Did what others had found out, rolled them back to 344.75, suddenly the problem is gone. Went back and forth with the drivers to be sure, and yep, any driver versions after that have the problem, none before. So it was something Nvidia added after that. The most hilarious part was reading the "Performance increases for Dragon Age" bit on the newest driver notes, and saying "oh go fuck yourselves" out loud unintentionally.
Reason I couldn't find anything on it earlier? Because that stupid texture flickering problem (which happened to a lot more people) would take up the first fourteen pages of any search attempt since people were using "textures" and "geometry" as if they were the same thing. Not surprised but fuck that's annoying.
Downside is the old driver is worse performance wise. But less fps is more acceptable than David Copperfield having fun with the terrain.
Would be nice to know if Bioware was aware of the issue, but given how much it was drowned out by the stuff about texture flickering, I doubt it.
I found the storage chest down in the Undercroft. How do you tint armor? I went to the crafting station and didn't see any new slots when I tried to create or modify armor?

It's based on what you use to make the armor.
And yeah, that means your favorite color might be a shitty stat. On the plus side, if you're not on a harder difficulty mode, it doesn't really matter.

No, the armor tinter is a new thing. Reddit is saying it's a separate machine located next to the vendor stand in your crafting area.

Ah! Separate machine! Thanks -- I'll have to take a look. (Although at this point, I finished the game last week at 160 hours -- about all I'm missing is a couple of mosaic pieces and a couple of regions -- so I'll probably be waiting for DLC before I spend too much time with it.)
It's weird seeing Gaider leave when DA always seemed like his baby, but my love for Taky knows no bounds so I'm excited to hear he's a head writer already. The only downside is that means there won't be any Taky in Mass Effect anymore.
BUT AT LEAST

I'm honored to be continuing the Dragon Age story that @davidgaider set in motion, and I look forward to adding a lot of sexy unicorns now.
Single-player only: implemented auto-attack with mouse and keyboard controls, with a new key binding created for this purpose.
Yessss. My index and middle fingers are happy about this change. I previously tried to do this with Pinnacle Game Profiler, but it wouldn't hook into Inquisition at all for some reason.
Removed the connection between mesh quality and shader quality and added a Shader Quality setting to the Graphics options.
Added an Option to increase the maximum zoom level when using the Tactical Camera.

Dragon Age: Origins was released on November 3, 2009, and Awakening came out on March 16, 2010. 133 days.
Dragon Age II was released on March 8, 2011, and Legacy came out on July 26th, 2011. 140 days.
Dragon Age: Inquisition was released on November 18, 2014, and today is March 5th, 2015. 107 days.
It feels pretty safe in assuming that we'll see major story DLC pretty soon. I'd really like a good reason to jump back in this game seriously.

Dragon Age Keep has been updated with Inquisition tiles on the tapestry: http://dragonagekeep.com
Unfortunately, they seem to have a really busted way of trying to hide spoilers, so most of the tiles are still hidden for me despite already beating the game completely.
Also, it seems as if other people are having the same experience. It's certainly not a big deal, but I'm kind of bummed I can't really play around with it, and look at all the art.
Yeah, its pretty broken at the moment. Huge chunks of it are hidden from me (including one section of 4 choices, none of which had an option available) and things I know I completed (like romances, and certain companion quests) are missing the options I chose.

Nope you can't change your spec but the quests for the others stay available.
Well. XP and shit.
And Taky is taking over as head writer:
Bummer about Gaider leaving, I'm curios if he's leaving BioWare or just working on other projects for the company.

One of his tweets specifically says he's going to another Bioware project.
Patrick Weekes is one of my favorite Bioware writers, so I agree with Gaider, I can't think of anyone better.
And I'm sure David will bring us cool now shit.
Even so, I'm pretty excited to see what happens next to Dragon Age with Taky heading up the writing team.

Because that wasn't even their final form, and their technique is beyond you, Chosen One!

I've read a few of his books and they've been entertaining reads.
Heard some people mentioning the armor tint device is now available?
it apparently also removed chest farming, which is just terrible
i don't know of any reliable way to get schematics now, aside from buying the ones that are available
and good luck affording them, because they've also removed the only good way of making money in the game while they were at it
edit:
oh thank christ, never mind
